  • @crawlfishcrawler Schooly D starterd Gangsta Rap. Ice T moved from New Jersey and adopted the style. Brought it to South Central. N.W.A. "Straight Outta Compton" album came out after Ice T's "Rhyme Pays" album.

  • Cube FOR-LYFE!

  • OMG!!! This so reminds me of all the partys back in 93 with all my girls and homies!! Funnest times ever!! Yea, Northern Cali baby........

  • I love (no homo) Cube's album intro's. This song had the intro in the hospital, a shot and then this song came in in a heavy fashion. Cube top 10 ever.

  • Original versions are always better cause your used to them and when you hear a edited versions it threws you off the beat and song then your like this shit sucks im gonna listen to the oringinal version

  • shut the fuck up.. the blackman is god... time to ride or sleep forever.. NIGGAS MAN UP PULL YO MOTHA FUCKIN PANTS UP !!! BITCHES !!! DO OR DIE BED STUY !!!

  • when rap was REAL right here. Nothing beats 90s westcoast. Since 2000 it has sucked beyond belief. In my opinion you can thank that fool Eminem for ruining hip hop by tryin to make it a comedy act.

  • i couldnt agree more

  • id laugh my ass off too cause that was on the "lethal injection" tape

  • Nobody does Gangsta better then Cube

  • TRUE CUBEin the rough"WESTSIDE"

  • This is Ice Cube at his best right here.

  • Ice cube is L.A.'s everyman

  • smoke a phillie blunt to this

  • Straight G right there at his best. Too bad this is the edited version. But damn, '93 was the absolute pinnacle of West Coast rap - The Chronic, Doggystyle, It's On 187um Killa, and Lethal Injection... I'll bump these four albums till the day I die. Forget the garbage coming out now.

  • i just got this vidoe, but this is Ice Cube returning from his NWA dayz

  • damn! "to g or not to g is the question" ole skoool rhymes

  • i love my years of growin up on hiphop

1980 at age 8 - SUGAR HILL first album "RAPPERS DELIGHT"

1984 at age 12 - THE PEAK OF THE BREAKIN ERA & RUN-DMC arrived

    1988 at age 17 - RAKIM, KOOL G.RAP, KANE, & KRS-1 was out

    1993 at age 21 - WUTANG arrived

1995 at age 24 - EAST & WEST COAST RAP was at its peak, & the NEWYORK club seen was HOT

    2003 at age 31 - G-UNIT & EMENEM was on FIRE

but now in 2008 at age 37, HIPHOP IS DEAD, but im fortunate to be young in its best years :)

  • In my opinion the best era in as far as talent goes is 1992 - 1998. This is period in which a majority of the greatest rappers came to rise to prominence trully bringing it to the mainstream & making it into an international genere, it also was a period in which the raps were just as or even more important than the hook ..2pac,Jay Z,Ice Cube,Biggie,Nas,Dre,Snoop,Scarface,Master P, Bone Thugz ,(young)Outkast,Coolio,Big L,Mob Deep,Big Pun,Busta Rhymes,Wutang Clan, all came up through this era

  • That was a special period for hiphop just like in sports where the 1960's was a special period for boxing and the heavy weight division or in basketball where the 80's and early 90's were a special time in the NBA

  • ...oops I forgot Naughty by Nature,Fugees,Lil Kim,Common and Foxy Brown they were also major rappers to come up through this period ...honestly the only one of the greats to come after this period was Eminem

  • YEAH, i guess, but damn the 1980's was great also. RUN-DMC, LL COOL J, HOUDINI, SALT N PEPA, KOOL MOE DEE, PUBLIC ENEMY, BEASTY BOYS, EPMD, BIZ MARKIE, GRAND MASTER FLASH-FURIOUS 5, FAT BOYS, SPOONY G, NWA, SPECIAL ED, UTFO, ROXANNE, MC LYTE, KRS-1, DE LA SOUL, ROB BASE, CHUB ROCK, HEAVY D, ANTONETTE, BIG DADDY KANE, KOOL G.RAP, RAKIM, & "GRAFFITI & BREAK DANCIN" was also at its peak in the early 1980's. so its hard 2 say 80's or 90's was better, 4 me anyway, because i enjoyed both eras equally

  • both were best. one thing is fact tho, th 80s and 90s music (not just rap) is 10x better than anything u hear nowadays

  • U lucky fuck :)

  • lol, well how old are u buddy? :)

  • Only 130,000 views? People need to be educated on Ice Cube man lol

  • But there is probally 15 videos of the same tune so probally 2 mil views

  • ice cube is so cool man... i love his guy... such a great person rapper and all that....his rap style makes you wanna nod your head.....the best...WESTSIDE LENCH MOB!!! lol

  • Wuts a croker sac and wuts a knick kicker?

  • Shoe's

  • real Nigga with Attidus

  • I forgot all about this and the Lethal Injection album...I was looking at carwash when Daddy Rich visited the carwash and they started singing this chorus...I had to find it again, both the song and album is classic...cause I a m**** f******* G!

  • classic joint since 6th grade

  • khoa ist eine schwuchtel xd

  • i was born in 1993 and this album seems to be his best by every1 but raw footage and laugh now cry later are some sick albums though

  • Lethal Injection was released after the LA riots and had much more energy put into it, but Death Certificate is considered Cube's best and one of the greatest rap albums of all time.

  • cube ran the 90's!

  • You Gotta Believe by The Pointer Sisters

  • Does anyone know the sample?

  • can someone give me the mp3 to this, please

  • There are enough music pirating sites on the internet for you to find it yourself. Don't beg.

  • just give me yo e-mail

  • anybody know how to make that west coast flute sound?

  • On all of the keyboards and midi controllers I have used from past to present, the flute sound is called a "jazz flute". However, I don't think there is a flute used in this song. The sound used during the intro and choruses are a sample of someone yelling.

  • 1:45 gangsta as fuck haha

  • hell yeah definately Icecube at the peak of his lyrical career, totally untamed by corporate influence,West coast most prolific voice for the streets of L A.

  • Bust a cap, like Jerome on "Martin"! Love it!!

  • hooker hoe.....really doe.......i love him....not gay...he just the best rapper...his voice and rap style made me like him

  • ice cube is the shit. theres not a rapper out there that can even come close 2 how good he is. not even biggie or pac and i dont give a fuck what any1 says

  • NOT GUILTY!.. HAHAHA.. bad ass video.

  • his new cd's ill what u talkin about

  • Cuz ppl wont buy his cd's. They too busy buyin soulja bitch and lil gayne!

  • haha word son, fuck dem pussyboys

  • nas trynna do a nigger album . shit ..that shit was done by cube already dogg .

  • im only 20 i barely start listening to his cd's back with laugh now cry later that really caught my attention i been going back and listening to all his shit old and new he is really underrated people talk bout pac he good but not the best it's bout cube
