Hightower Hotel storyline:The hightower family built the tower and everyone said it might have a ghostly past.He ingnored and went on the elevator. The elevator got struck by lightning and went up then crashed down.Hollywood Tower Storyline:The people who built the tower was building when lighting struck. It began to become a lighting target and the 7 people died from the lighting when they entered:The Twilight Zone
@Forevermoonlighte nope here is the story line so harrison hightower stole a "shirinki utundu" he brought it to hotel hightower he mocked that curse then he went on that elevator and shirinki utundu made the elevator go crazy and harrison hightower went missing i never went to tokyo disneysea but i looked up this ride and it said that story line
This Tower of Terror looks like the best Tower of Terror out of all the other ones around the world. I hear it's got a different background story and is not related to The Twilight Zone. I kind of like that it's a different story. The Twilight Zone story theming is kind of goofy and old. Sooner or later in my life, i will go to Tokyo Disney Sea and go on all the rides there!!
Think about it... In Japan they werent into all of the glamour and that back in the whatever times it was. Also Japanese people are spiritual and this storyline would mke it scary for them!
It's common around Disney fans to jokingly say false information/myths after a ridiculous comment, not saying that the comments above were, though. :-)
Yeah, those were 2 of the 3 elevators in the windows. They were at the part of the ride when the doors open to a view of the park, the lightning "strikes" them and they fall. The lights you saw that made them look like chandelliers were the lights on the ceiling of the elevators. Either way, the effects are awesome. I wish the tower in California had effects like that!
No, I know what you mean, but thats not what Im talking about. When the green light goes diagonally, watch at the BOTTOM of the building where it strikes, two chandelliers drop.
it looks like a tower from London

@Xenomorph237 yes it has a unique storyline because the Japanese don't know what "The Twilight Zone" is or was.

Twilight Zone FTW! The story behind this Tower of Terror shrivels underneath it!!!

It's like The Haunted Mansion. The storyline is the same for all of them except for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris.
