How to make an motion comics with 3dsmax and After Effects CS3 by Terrysolo

The thing I do not quite understand ist, why you do not just do the animation in After Effects. It is fully capable of animating 3D layers and has the puppet tool, for whenver a little flexibility is needed. I think you put some unnecessery work into this.
