I think your voice is beautiful I'm actually learning Danish too so it's quite similar in the text so it's slightly easier for me to read it....Jag älskar også dig ^.^
@graciehell I don't think I understand exactly what you mean. This has nothing to do with language, right? If you find it hard to love your man then perhaps it is not love?
love is reserved for those who are worthy.Having noone care about you isn't realy that bad.I got used to it.Life is possible without love. You simply can't love trash.
I'm kinda confused on how certain letters are suposed to be pronounced, like K sounds like SH but also like K so like yea um and does SJ=H sound? There was no examples of how all that works in the alphabet lesson or the grammar lesson.
But I do appreciate that you have this here for free!!!!!
@zarathuztra6 Okej, då vet jag. Men jag säger det ofta. Jag använder mig av båda meningarna. Man väljer själv, som sagt. Som ni två kanske märker om ni kollar en gång till så ser ni att jag översätter följande mening: I'm so happy you STEPPED into my life - Alltså översätter jag då denna mening inte: "I am so happy you ENTERED my life" och inte heller "I am so happy you CAME into my life" - utan STEPPED = KLEV!
Min älskade fästman sa till mig "I am so happy you stepped into my life" - och det tyckte jag lät gulligt. Peace, love and light to you, dear! :)
Annars borde man väl kalla det "learn swedish MY way, not the correct way" :p
@zarathuztra6 I have a life already. I love it more than words can describe, thank you. I feel blessed. Please, treat people with kindness and respect as it's not a very nice look to be rude. I can't understand why certain people feel such need to be rude towards kind people, for no reason. I breathe peace and love, for the world and its people. I treat as I wish to be treated. So, I'd appreciate if rude people could just keep away - Actually, I'll give you your own video soon. God bless you.
@GoSwedish tell me something about swedish girls. I know they're beatiful, but are they loyal ? Is it easy or difficult to win love of some swedish girl ?
@jebacjutube It's all about the person. It has nothing to do with someones race or nationality. Surely you should know this, dear? It's about the specific person herself - if she is loyal or not. All people are different. Some poeple care more than others. I am a loyal and trustworthy person - but the next Swedish girl may not be. How would anyone know.
The app is great. I have the free one -- wanted to test it out and it's one of the best apps I have on my iPhone. I'm planning to buy the full version and wanted to thank you for making such a useful tool. Jag älskar det!
You're very clever with how you set up your lessons and I wanted to give you kudos for doing a great job. Keep up the good work and thanks for making this beautiful language more accessible for everyone.
Aailayag, I think you have a swert voice. I have a friend in Malmo I net on a karoke site.and like you she has a swet singing voice. You should try out for "Swefish Idol" :)
I have also heard "jag" pronounced more like "shyor" -if that sound makes sense at all. Very lovely videos, about the best I can find so far. I think its interesting how a lot of the words are (sometimes) similar to German. Its super hard learning a third language now.... :(
I love it! But my poish husband not haha :) I have just one question. You always say: jag (with this G on th end). I met some person who say: ja (no g!).
In the spring I want to visit Sweden, rent a car and go somewere... don't know yet . I dream about sailing, but don't know the rules in Sweden - can I rent a boat? In Poland its very easy. Maybe next video can be about friends, summer, holidays or sth like this. We all learn swedish to make friends, have fun and enjoy this beautiful country.
Thanks alot! I do say "Jag" because that is the proper way to say it, that's the correct way to really pronounce it. But it has to do with dialects, too, peoples accents, I think. Truth be told, many Swede's do not pronounce the "G" at the end of "Jag" but you must alway spell it out as "Jag" when writing, because "Ja" means "Yes" in Swedish, which is a completely different word. When we Swedish people drop the "G's" that's what I would call a so called "Lazy" Swedish :)
I'm going to write some more to you because I couldn't fit it all in to the other comment. About "Jag" without the "g" at the end, well, you can definitely speak that way, go for it... OR you can say it like I do in videos. Both works. But since I am a "teacher" here I feel that I must teach you the proper way to pronounce words. I hope you know what I mean? Just as in English I was taught to say " I want to" but in slang I may say "I wanna..." lol weird explaination there.
thank you very much for your videos!:) ive been teaching myself for a little while now (all the grammar and such) and i love your lessons because they teach new words and pronounciation.. it is reallly hard to find videos to help with the correct pronounciation of words and you really help with that
Oh dear. A song? That's too kind of you to write, I love singing, it's my passion but I am afraid I'm not that good at it, or perhaps I am just a chicken (: Thank You for your kind words.
Happy Valentine's! Hope you and your fiancé have a great time in England.
We don't celebrate Valentine's Day here in Brazil, we have something similar on June 12 but it's more of a commercial date and it's for romantic couples only, which can be a bit depressing for those of us who are alone. :(

Thank You very much! We had a wonderful romantic and fun time in England me and my fiancé. But I still feel that Valentine's Day is for anyone, not just romantic couples, Valentine's Day is LOVE and that means no one should be left feeling alone :) You spend it with loved ones.

It appears I may need another grammar lesson :0 and how come why for the "k" goes like "sh," and the "g" goes like the "h?" What are the rules for that?

For ä, just press caps lock, then ^, then caps lock again, and then the letter a.
So ä = capslock+^+capslock+a
For å, I just change my language sections in my toolbar to swedish for a second, and press the ^ button.
