I'm kinda confused on how certain letters are suposed to be pronounced,like K sounds like SH but also like K so like yea um and does SJ=H sound? There was no examples of how all that works in the alphabet lesson or the grammar lesson.

Som ni två kanske märker om ni kollar en gång till så ser ni att jag översätter följande mening: I'm so happy you STEPPED into my life - Alltså översätter jag då denna mening inte: "I am so happy you ENTERED my life" och inte heller "I am so happy you CAME into my life" - utan STEPPED = KLEV! Om detta är super fel, det är en sak, men det är inte fel. Tack för din kommentar :)

Så om du ska lära folk korrekt svenska så tycker jag man ska bruka korrekta meningar. Annars borde man väl kalla det "learn swedish MY way, not the correct way" :p

I have also heard "jag" pronounced more like "shyor" -if that sound makes sense at all. Very lovely videos, about the best I can find so far. I think its interesting how a lot of the words are (sometimes) similar to German. Its super hard learning a third language now.... :(

I love it! But my poish husband not haha :) I have just one question. You always say: jag (with this G on th end). I met some person who say: ja (no g!).

In the spring I want to visit Sweden, rent a car and go somewere... don't know yet . I dream about sailing, but don't know the rules in Sweden - can I rent a boat? In Poland its very easy. Maybe next video can be about friends, summer, holidays or sth like this. We all learn swedish to make friends, have fun and enjoy this beautiful country.

Thanks alot! I do say "Jag" because that is the proper way to say it, that's the correct way to really pronounce it. But it has to do with dialects, too, peoples accents, I think. Truth be told, many Swede's do not pronounce the "G" at the end of "Jag" but you must alway spell it out as "Jag" when writing, because "Ja" means "Yes" in Swedish, which is a completely different word. When we Swedish people drop the "G's" that's what I would call a so called "Lazy" Swedish :)

OR you can say it like I do in videos. Both works. But since I am a "teacher" here I feel that I must teach you the proper way to pronounce words. I hope you know what I mean? Just as in English I was taught to say " I want to" but in slang I may say "I wanna..." lol weird explaination there.

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day here in Brazil, we have something similar on June 12 but it's more of a commercial date and it's for romantic couples only, which can be a bit depressing for those of us who are alone. :(

So ä = capslock+^+capslock+a

For å, I just change my language sections in my toolbar to swedish for a second, and press the ^ button.
