In my experience: moving parts = noise. The music overlay makes me wonder if they are trying to hide something. Food for thought if they make another video for it.
If you want a adjustable stand, go with the equalizer. I have a summit titan and it stays in my shed now days. My equalizer is the best stand I have ever owned.
I bought this stand from OpticsPlanet (250)and gave it a good shot. The stand is loud setting up, but when you gte use to doing it its not as loud. When climbing the pins seem to click and you can not keep it quiet. A friend said he could hear me going up a tree 100 yars away. The clicks of the pins and very loud. Adjusting the top is not hard, but you have to work hard to adjust the bottom. Buy a Summit and if you need to adjust go back down its faster than this thing. I sent mine back
i have a summit viper and its really nice and very quiet after some practice but the only draw back is you need a tree without limbs on it. i am going to switch to mostly using a homemade lone wolf assasin and climbing sticks. they are they are not worth the price they are listed at.
I dont mean the cable holding it to the tree either. It dosent have a cable holding it to the tree it has a aluminum blade with teeth. But it has two small ropes tied to from the bottom to the top,one on the left and one on the right.
nice looking stands,do you not have them tied together in case the bottom part falls?i lost grip on my bottom climber and if i hadn't had it tied to the top part i woulda been screwed!!!
Yes it has to ropes connected to the bottom platform, it is what you use to adjust the bottom platform. If you watch close in the video he grabs the rope to adjust the bottom it is just hard to see.
i dont mean the cable holding it to the tree...just a small rope tied to the top half to the bottom half...if his foot slips out while climbing the the bottom half would slide down the tree...

yeh waay to noisee when u r huntin..... we make homemade stands out of logs and stuff all u need is a chain saw a hammer and nails

not really a mobile way of hunting
Damico07 2 years ago
actually it is..because u can move it around easier and quicker (depends on wind direction) than a ladder stand or a shooting house

The Amacker Climber is $250.00. The summitt has some models that are higher and some that are cheaper.

Which is cheaper, Summit or Amacker?

Kind of reminds me of my Tree Lounge climbing deer stand. Wish the foot part was as sturdy as the Amacker though.
