  • How do their eyes and mouths switch places?

  • in the book edwind describes women as circles and only women are circles, but here male are also circles

  • My geometry teacher told me about this. :D

  • I think that Michael York did a good job voicing Spherius.

  • Ummm... if you turn on 'Transcribe Audio' the first word is prostitute??!! Saw this in maths....

  • @luisillusion yes

  • @luisillusion yes

  • @luisillusion :D ha!

  • @luisillusion Thanks for letting us know. I have no idea where those weird subtitles came from. Should be fixed now.

  • i saw today in math class. it freaked me out but it was good.

  • this movie is freakin awesome. we watch it in math class ALL the time!

  • OMG, is that Michael York voicing the Sphere?! Freaking awesome!

  • I saw this movie at a film showing at our school :P

  • lol..i saw this in school XD

  • I wanna see this movie!

  • At 0:36 The squares eye moves and switches places with the mouth, for appearance sake, not like in the book where the people are UGLY have eyes on the corners and you can see their insides, as always when you see things from higher dimensions.

I think it's good that the directors think of these things and make the 2d world and people good looking, and change obsolete satire, and give females intelligence and an active role in the story.

  • oh god.....a woman can't be an hexagon!

and even surely not a circle!!

they are lines, and can't move as they want cause they could kill a man! it's dangerous!

and colors...how can they see colors if there's no light??

who the hell made this film? he did not read the novel.....

  • Why would reading the novel (which is horribly boring, and made fun of people who are mostly all dead now) make the director want to sacrifice entertainment for adherence to a book and risk getting in trouble for making the females consistently one dimension lower than the males (sexism)?

Of course there was light, it said so in the book, and it is hinted that the light might come from the 3rd dimension, but the higher dimensions are all possibilities.

  • the more sides you have in this world, the smarder you are. so circles with infinite sides are the highest forms in thisworld. ad if you're iregular, you get excuted. n human rghts.

  • wait, wasn't like all colour forbidden in Flatland (the book version)?

  • yeah, and females r lines, not the smart hexagon...

  • I was gonna say just that Leo.

  • I guess the movie would otherwise become too dull...
