Big Sugar was the real deal. Loud, musical, creative...bridging the blues, rock and reggae and were completely unapologetic about it...as it should be.
That was awesome seein these guys at Rock In the Valley when I was like 12.Too bad they changed it to country and don't even get good artists to come anymore.
You need to learn punctuation. You can't form a one word sentence. Correct way to spell that "Punction, I know it's a big word, but you should discover it." Capitol letters at the beginning of a sentence is a good start. Commas are used where you have periods. This isn't evening with shatner where every word is its own sentence.
That's Mr. Chill (Kelly Hoppe) on the harmonica. Grady is not Big Sugar covers. There are a few re-works of Gordie's Big Sugar songs but they are not covers. Grady is an absolute ass-kicking live. One reviewer called it "The soundtrack to you're next barfight".
@1mjg1 just saw big sugar playing canalfest in lockport ny they played a BLISTERING 2 hour plus show and stayed and hung out the fans afterward they are the definition of cool
i live in the same community as gord's parents live. They're very nice people! my mom works with gords mom at the hospital, And his dad owns a pasta shop, Which also kicks ass! Woohoooooo...
i rmeember watching these guys at rock 'n the valley at craven and they didnt have all the fireowrks and shit like that but they still put on hell of a concert
Yes, they practice a lot and play well, plus they can balance their books, evade those silly taxes on artists, and turn a profit. Good accountants! Great band!
: ) Seen these guys play at " The Sugar Shack " in Brampton back in the '90s, great show, one of the loudest bands that I'd ever seen. Well worth seeing.
Some musicians grow out of their fans. You can't ask any man to give up his own dream to match your own. Gordie's new band is just fine for those who want it a little... make that a LOT harder!
hey u fuckin fucktart, so what if they are from Canada, if you had any culture u tunnel visioned cunt u would respect that they are amazingly talented and crush alot of your fag yankee inbred bands any day...meh im from kansas!!yuk tuk fuk!
Alot of Canadian musicians produce and write lyric for your gun happy ignorant fools!

This is one hell of a good band. About 6 years ago these guys had the balls to put out an album in French even though it wasnt their native tongue and it was good.
i unno man, being form toronto i can honestly say i dont no anybody who can speak french. outside from quebec people dont no much about aobut the language, unless they kept with it through all tehir school years, which is rare.
There is a pretty stong franco community in the To area but if you head north from Toronto, the further you get from the GTA the more francophones there are. We're actually the majority along the highway 11 coridor north of North Bay.
