Youtube is always fast-paced, and viewers are always wanting the next best thing. Not only does the title interest viewers, but also the number of views. As short as this piece is, it is probably the best depiction of online writing because it describes the environment of Youtube in 7 seconds. This is obviously not thought to be a serious video by most Youtubers, but if one delves into this video, it can be viewed as serious content.

Baxteric1 asks if we want more from youtube than just random visuals by using random visuals. Indeed, youtube is cluttered with these nonsense videos. It is true that academic video writing is difficult, and many serious videos are ignored unless spectacle is incorporated.

VISUAL WRITING is both spectacle and humor reliant, this is also the terrain of the expert (dependent upon corporate or popular media even if modified by amateurs). It is hard to use for academic video writing, but students try, usually through opposition.
