That one is pretty great. James Barbour sings so passionately and intensely. I think I have a crush on his voice. He's a pretty good actor, too. Their facial interaction (excepting the kiss! haha) is really touching.
i totally hear ya :D ever hear his other work? im currently listening to "The Longer I Live" from the "Dracula" musical, and its... wow. same with everything else ive heard. not too easy to find, i must say, at least with audio and video combined
Their chemistry is amazing. That kiss was fantastic! And, of course, his voice is perfection. I agree with the comment below about James' great versatility, using his powerful baritone and controlled falsetto. I've listened to this CD for the last couple years, so it's so great to see the original actors performing these songs! Thanks for posting!
I could seriously kill Marla Schaffel right now, I'm so jealous! I mean, first she gets to hear that angleic voice singing to her, and then she gets the best stage kiss that ever exsisted, from James Barbour no less. She's so lucky...
now that was a kiss. too bad they don't do it like that in the movies. i could kick myself, i had a chance to see this on stage and i passed it up. im such an idiot. thier voices! and james, how gorgeous is he! if they taped these short clips of the musical does anyone know if they recorded the whole thing? cause i would love to watch it all. to own it.

Amazing. I am so excited that I'm finally getting to see these scenes played out, and by the original actors, after listening to the music for years.
James Barbour - for such a low baritone, he has a beautiful falsetto on the last few notes. Great control and training.
