I buy cans of cappacino mixes at Walmart and make my own "concoctions" using different flavors of coffee creamers and ingredients along with them. Those big-time coffeehouses are there for people who may not have time to make their own or just would rather spend their money there. That's fine for them, I'm not knocking them. But if people are gonna whine and bitch about prices and not having alternatives, then stop going to these places and make your own.

There's a Starbucks at almost every corner here in NYC, not much emo's/punks/indies, but those in Queens are a different story. That's why I rarely go a Starbucks outside of Manhattan. Okay, the last time we didn't pick up on his subtext Foamy yelled at us, so take this into consideration: Star-schmucks represents YouTube. Look at the coffee shop videos before this, the ones that were originally only available on the Ill Will Press website. They all down-talk star-schmucks and expose the evil and ridiculousness of the corporation; Foamy gets on YouTube and, boom, this comes out. Seems too well timed to be a coincidence.

As well, the rest of the coffee house series could relate to big corporations, but I think this episode limits the message to Starbucks and YouTube, because, in this episode, Foamy is saying that the big corporation has won, and for YouTube an Starbucks this is true. The same cannot be said for other marketing wars where the big corporations still have plenty of competition.

There's a Starbucks at almost every corner here in NYC, not much emo's/punks/indies, but those in Queens are a different story. That's why I rarely go a Starbucks outside of Manhattan. I also barely see any family-run coffee shops, which is very unfortunate. Or perhaps I'm not looking hard enough for family-run coffee shops. But what Foamy is saying is very true, and it's such a sad commentary. And as for overpriced, for Starbucks, most definitely without a doubt. I can get a regular black coff
