@4:24 -- I sure wish that drive-ins were still around that offered draws for a "jalopy", & that you could actually race them at the local hot rodders clubs. Things are so different now. *Sigh*.
Those poor kids probably had to drink Toddy for a month, as payment for appearing in the commercial. Hopefully they didn't eat one of the coal-black hamburgers advertised on here!
PBS did a "Drive-In" retrospective and included bits & pieces of these Intermission Bumpers..I'm glad someone here is bringing them back from the dead...THANX once again!
i love the way they lured you into the snack bar!! my parents would bring a big box of food!! but after watching these promos i always wished i could have eaten everything there!!
