Ray Price sang with the band "Driftin Cowboys" after Hank died. I think that is who's playing with him here. He later fired them because everyone compared him to Hank and he wanted his own sound.
I remember some of these shows being shown on PBS when I was growing up (born in 1971) Interesting to see Red Sovine sing, when latter he was known for his stories/song.
These videos are from VHS tapes that was recorded from PBS. I dont remember the year. I totally concur "this is real country" not the bad 50's rocknroll they call country now.Although I like Buck Owens I believe this change in country was the start of the decline in country music
