There is a "Sequel" to X-Men for the NES was called: Wolverine which was made by the same company who did X-Men (LJN). As AVGN stated that that game was better than the first one, but it still a pile of Donkey Dick.

I've seen gameplay of X-Men and you have to take a round trip through the levels. In other words, you have to go as far as the level goes and then you have to turn around and go back to the beginning of the level.

I've seen gameplay of Legend of Kage and there are three levels. All three levels look the same with diffetent colors. And after you complete the third level, you see an ending sequence where the two friends meet and then you get sent back to the first level.

Legend of Kage(Kah-gei) was a really good game in my past, really... I finished the game, even it only had 3 bosses to fight(and the ending didn't really make much sense)... I enjoyed it, though I had my frustrations... Though, It had catchy music....

Legend of Kage was a favorite of mine as a child. This game was exciting to me. You say the graphics were horrible but I was impressed by them at the time. Yes, it was frustrating but it was a fun game for the time.

Great review. I never played Legend of Kage, but I have played X-Men and Deadly Towers and let me say that I agree with you on everything you have said about those games. Though I have made thru a few bosses on Deadly Towers though, but never beat the game though. I do also have to say that killing the enemies do take a while as well.

I just reviewed Hillsfar for the 8-bit NES.

That game is by far much worse than Deadly Towers. You keep falling off horses due to the ultra handicapped controlls, and you do nothing else but to steal treasures, practice archery, and fight lame-arse battles in the arena, which is nothing but a button mashing mess.
