  • i got one of dem fuckers in my basement

  • Great video, but what other shoe companies do the same thing?? I'm wearing a pair of New Balance; did they come from some 3rd world sweat shop?? How can we shop conscientiously if we don't know who is using slave labor and who's not?? Keep up the good work. peace

  • do you think they get staff discount?

  • its not slavery if you dont like where you work because of the bad conditions they would just leave but since they need that money they dont. yes they are underpaid but it is a FACTORY job and it has been low pay ever since factories had been conceived. compared to the factories during the american industrial revolution id say that the working conditions are clean and somewhat sanitary. and about the heat, i dont know if you have been to Thailand but it is a pretty fucking hot place as it is

  • I know Nike don't treat there workers how they should, but sadly it's not just Nike, its pretty much all other brands out there, but Nike gets picked on because it's the biggest, but all the Adidas, gap, puma ect are all made in places like Nike.

  • Alright lets see, die by your bedside poor, or work

  • Fuck this bullshit.. Im buying Nikes

  • people who wear nike are mindless conformist sheep.

if famous people started wearing trash on their heads these same people would be paying money to do the same. fucking pathetic.

  • where the fuck do i get shows not made in sweatshops that are decent for basketball

  • but people should know that almost all shoes not just nike, are made in sweatshops.

  • Comment removed

  • Just cause i watched this i'm might go out tommorw and get a pair of nikes!

  • @jacques444 what does that suppose to mean

  • It means that i dont care. About nike sweatshops. Cause thats gay. i realy dont think we should worrie about stupid stuff like this there are so many other problems that are a million times more important then nike sweatshops.

  • @jacques444 your F-ing stupid as hell

  • oops i mean buy

  • wow thats so awful!!!!! thank god i dont but nike!!!!

  • SERIOUSLY good point. But of course, you must consider. If these people didn't work at the sweatshops, they would get paid ZERO dollars.

  • good point

but they get like 50 cents a day! right?

  • yeah, but 50 cents is better than nothing. (even though it may sound like it, I am not supporting sweatshops, or saying that 50 cents is good pay, or that they are underworked, but without sweatshops, nobody that works in ANY sweatshop of the world would get enough money to eat or drink, because he'/she wouldn't work at all. therefore, they would be dead if it weren't for these cruel and overworking and underpaying places.)

  • but you know how people are crazy about shoes including me. they gotta have few hundreds thousands of people.

i agree with what you said though.

  • That's my point, though. Without the sweatshops, the "few hundreds thousands of people" would have no job.

  • @CrissAngelLIVE If Nike wants to do a favor then maybe they should give up some of there record profits to atleast pay them decently.

  • you said in the video that nike defends their position as providing jobs. but you said you didnt believe them and no reason to back it up except your feelings. sweat shops provide way more income than the average source of income in most under developed countries. if these people didnt want to work there sweat shops wouldnt be a problem because nobody would work there.

  • The reason people work in sweatshops isn't because they want to, it's because they have no choice. They would starve to death, if they had no work. And since Nike knows this, they take advantage of the situation.

It's as if you pass a homeless guy on the street who is starving and near-death.

You could just give him some food, or you could say, "I'll give you some food if you eat some dirt off the ground."

  • its more than just making money. its about fair labor. our constitution has a amendment againts child labor and any company who does it or is involved in it will be prosecuted in the united states. what nike does,,,,,,, >>>>> is go to a different country. forget about that amendement. :O) with a smile. and break the united states law with out being prosecuted because they are not in the USA. By Yours Truly >>>>>>>>>> NIke

  • amazing video you really opened my eyes thx
