  • Nikki, were you working on a baby preemie doll? And you're good at making Reborns, even I can't do that xD

  • Ok so what order do you paint the doll with GHSP...do you start with your flesh color, and then after that what order do you go in with your veins creases mottling etc....Im confuesed!

  • What kind of brushes do I need for the whole process and also can I get them at my local craft store

  • Where do you order the heat set paints?

  • @somedaywife - I have them on my website.

  • Can you use both the air dry paints and the heat set on the same doll kit or will the heat do something to the air dry paints? I would like to start using the air dry but have to switch over slowly since they cost more than the heat set paints. Also, what order do you do all these tutorials in? I know the flesh is usually first, but what order after that, please?

  • @suzzieg70 - You can use the air dry paints after you have finished with the heat set paints but do not bake the doll after you have applied air dry paints.

  • random MEOW in the back at 7:31

  • did you already do the flesh paint

  • Do you like to do the creases after the flesh?

  • did i hear a kitty in the background? hehe

    nikki uses distilled water :)

  • thx!

  • Thankyou for answering my question. Anyway, I have another question :) What colors do you mix or use for creases with genesis?

  • @Missblondy11 - red and blue

  • @stillmomentsnursery only a dab of it?

  • Do you use the same method as this if you were using genesis heat set paints?

  • @Missblondy11 - yes you can

  • O! And do you have to use a specific type of water?

  • What would u recommend the dry or heat set paints or what wich a just a lil better??

  • @lagri33 - I prefer the air dry paints and you dont have to use a special water but I like to use distilled water.

  • @stillmomentsnursery Can you use both the air dry paints and the genesis heat set paints on the same kit? I cannot get this shade to come out with genesis and would like to order some real effects paint from you for the creases until I can afford to buy the whole set. Will the heat ruin the air dry paints?

  • Nikki, do you have a favorite kind of paint? Like air dry or heat set?

  • @twosdayschild - Real Effect air dry paints

  • can you add this paint after you have painted your reborn thank you sanbell2 .

  • do the air dry paints once dry rub off?

  • @doborosco - no they shouldn't if they are applies properly.

  • Can you tell me when you will have the set of 8 in stock again?

air dry hmmmm what ist ? glass paint?

  • @Rmoni001 - Real Effects air dry paint is paint that dries without heating. It is specially designed for reborning.

  • whats about the thinner ? and may i ask what kind of colors is that ? i use heat set normally but its hard to find here in my country so again is this water color , oil ...etc ? thanx Nikki i love you

  • @Rmoni001 - thinners is not required with the air dry paints. I used the Aubergine colour for this video.

  • @craftyness12 - Yes I sell the paints on my website. Distilled water is water that has many of its impurities removed through distillation. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container.

  • Love all of your vids; you have taught me so much. A nice change of video would be a few on how to create birthmarks. Though birthmarks may seem insignificant to some, they do offer each reborned baby a touch of uniqueness. I can't find any vids of how to do them, so I figured it might be an idea.
