Un vrai prodige le jeune homme, bravo ,d'une rareté en soi et c'est peu dire, car j'ai déjà vu bien pire,Bonne continuité jeune homme, quoique peut être pas maintenant....
I really don't like it . You need more traning... I'm plaing it better after two weks. Sory, for no record, I don't want do it, because I want practise it yet.
Well played! Never heard this set of etudes before. Sounds alot like nr. 2 from the "12 etudes de execution transcendante" - but this one is actually playable :D
Actually the 12 etudes de execution transcendante are based on twelve earlier etudes, including this one. Quite logical you recognise nr 2 in this etude, since it was based on this piece!
Very good! Your note accuracy is great. I find the only thing lacking is emotion. Rhythm is great and all, but especially with Liszt, being an extreme virtuoso himself, allow yourself to interpret the music with more emotion in the future. Exaggerate certain ritardandos and diminuendos. :D Don't be afraid (especially with Liszt) to go crazy and experiment with the interpretation.
how long did it take u to learn it/ I have a test the following sunday and must take this piece. practiced for 2 months and still cant get hang of it. how old r u/ im 12....WOW!!!
Overall very well played! You have a good sense of how this piece should sound. I only have a few comments.
First, try to almost over-accent the first note in the left hand for the second, third and fourth bars. Secondly, in the sixth and seventh bars try to make the motif louder (the motif is played by the first note in each set of triplets in the right hand.)
I signed up to youtube just so i can post a comment and tell you that you're magnificent and an inspiration. i cant stop listening to you play! how old are you?
haha, my piano teacher told me to find a liszt etude that i really like on youtube and after listening to you play this piece, you kinda make me want to pick this etude to play now.. =)
AWESOMEEE!!!! dude, i've only seen 1 other video of this song. great choice you did great man. now please, learn his grandes etude no.2
NOT TRANSCENDENTAL!!! DONT EVER LEARN THOSE!! his original grandes etudes are Waaayyy better. his practice etudes are cool too, this being one of them, i've only heard 1 other.
go to classicalarchives(dot)com and listen to them their. pick which you like.
BRAVO! This is fascinating!! I know that the Transcendental Etudes were conceived of while Liszt was still a youngster - the final version is what we hear today. I have read that the second version was "virtually unplayable, except by Liszt"! But this first version is so interesting to hear, and you play it so well. DO keep it up, and I look forward to your presenting us with more such performances of seldom heard though beautiful pieces.
@vighmarci VÉGRE EGY MAGYAR AKI MAGYAR DARABOT JÁTSZIK A YOUTUBE-NAK. HURRÁÁÁÁÁ. Nagyon ügyesen játszol. ja é bocsi a nagybetűért! Márha megérted, hogy mit mondok attól függetlenül, hogy Írországban laksz. Csak így tovább :)
It's excellent.
Just play less pedal, it will be even better. :)
I play this too, very similarly, just without the excessive pedal.
