I guess my question is.....Palma from Phantasy Star 1 (Alis's home) is blown up in Phantasy Star 2. Oooooor, in the entire phantasy star saga...Palma=the green planet, Motavia=the hot planet (with out mother brain), and Dez is the cold planet. correct? Sorry....that map the pirate showed just confused the crap out of me just then!! But, the path of the orbits can cross paths in all reality! *talks to self* ok man....calm down...its just a video game you played as a kid 15 years ago!! :-)

why is palma the 1st planet 2 the sun on the map that the pirate shows? shouldnt it be the 2nd? i thought rolf starts on motavia (the desert plant from part 1) and the reason its green in phantasy star 2 is due to the mother brian. Or, was this a translation error and rolf starts of on Palma. (because i know that the phantasy star saga has a couple translation problems that im aware of). but, in part 4 motavia is back to a desert like planet because there is no mother brain. some 1 help! :-)

@921144666 It's because the planets changed their orbits because of an accident which happened before Phantasy Star II, known as "The Great Collapse". It's mentioned only in the japanese version of the game, though. I don't remember very well, but it's more or less like that.

@noelcraneny Who mentions it? And, is it in the orignal Japanese Phantasy Star 2 version? Either way...it's one of the best RPG series (that each game relates to each other) ever made! :-D

The Great Collapse happened AFTER PS2...It is the same accident that threw Algo back to Dark Ages.
