  • hard to believe that was zedd playing rif

  • *Fap Fap Fap* im sorry, whats this vid about?

  • @thanatos241 *facepalms* You again, huh? This is a DOS game from 1994.

  • @knuxthefox me again? lol, what do u mean

  • I just finished the game. I felt that the ending could have been a lot better had the publishers not butt it and forced the production team to toss out several parts of the game, including a darker plot, more violence, and harder puzzles. There seems to be empty gaps in certain scenes in terms of gameplay, such as this ending, wherein there could have been more player interaction and intensiy. I mean, c'mon, the LAST "triumphant" action the player does is to talk to the raccoon. How epic.

  • I'm upset that they had to make this game geared towards kids. The creator had a more adult theme to this game, but had to skip out on death scenes and the such in order to keep the low rating. I STILL WANT A SEQUEL! if none is made inside of the year I will make my own.

  • @joebobjrjr Yeah, I guess the publishing company saw anthropomorphic animals as being akin to children's cartoons. Wyrmkeep had originally announced a sequel in the early 2000s, but no news has erupted since about 2006. I'd say chances are good that there won't be a sequel, so get crackin'!

  • @knuxthefox if you check on the website, they say they are working, just very slowly. I might make one for fun anyway. Pm me if you have an idea for story. (:

  • cycloptic wolf for the win!

  • are there any more versions?????

  • one of the best computer games ever

  • Is it just me..? Or does the orb sound like William Daniels to anyone.. (KITT from Knight Rider).. I know its not him because I know the voice actor doing the voice..

But he just seems to sound like William Daniels in this role lol

  • This game had quite a bit of furries involved. Mostly in the concept art department, though Lisa Jennings, one of the designers/producers, is a furry, Talin was not, though he had long since known about them. The problem with the game is not what it was, but it what it could have been. The game was intended to have much more mature themes and darker overtones. The problem is, the publishers insisted that a game with animals talking and wearing clothes was exclusively a kid's thing and...

  • (Part 2) had most of the darker and maturer tones taken down and a more kid friendly setting, along with much easier puzzles, put in place.

  • I remember this one! Great game!

  • seems like there should have been a sequel

  • They've been talking about a sequel in the works for the past 5 years now. I don't think this sequel thing actually exists. They've been saying how the gameplay is going to be a combination of 2d and 3d, and instead of Rif being the main character, it's going to be a user-created character. All this talk, and no development screens or videos. How do we, as fans, know if this is being made or not?

  • The sequel is mostly being done by comic format, and it is being written by one of the primary art directors. That's about all the fulfillment we'll get.

  • Well, I've known about the comic, and it does continue the story, but what we, the fans, want is a new game.

  • lol, that wolf is like: Can't let you do that, STAR FOX >:3

    I think not >:B

It would be funny to see this remade and completely ridiculous, and with fighting and explosions and nukes and earthquakes that set off tsunamis. It SEEMS to be a descent concept, but it could be better, heheh.

  • "We are Morph?"

    What does that mean?

  • Eh.. Furries, for lack of a better word.

Basically, the anthromorphic animals that were granted sentience by the humans are dubbed "Morph".

  • LOL She doesn't have a gold medal, she has sex!

  • Rif has a silver medallion for winning second prize at the puzzle-solving contest. Skorry of the Rat Tribe got the gold medallion.

If you're referring to Rif and Rheene having sex after the game, that could have happened. I mean the night before, they camped in the woods, and Rif could only think about the puzzle-solving contest, and as such, they likely didn't do anything then. Now that he's sick of all the puzzles and orbs and wolves and dogs, perhaps his mind is more on her, now.

  • I know too darn much about this game and the back story...but having read the prologue in the instruction manual helps.

  • I've finished the game and read the instruction manual too. And I needed a walkthrough for those mazes

  • For the mazes, use a piece of paper and draw them. They're really not as difficult as they seem. That's how I got past them. I mapped it out.

  • YIFF YIFF YIFF.

  • The hero's reward

  • Lol.. I couldn't figure this game out. Nice to finally see the ending! :D

  • What did you have problems with? Maybe I can help? I've beat the game several times.

  • Lol.. this was like, what? 7 years ago? ^^ I just remember being sent to a village fairly early on and having no idea what to do next!

  • 14 years ago. Go to the Shrine, talk to the cat. Go to Ferret Village, go into town, and buy plaster with the 15 gold you got for selling the silver medallion to the moneychanger at the faire. Go back to Shrine garden. Pick up bucket, use with fountain, use bucket of water with plaster. Use that on the paw print and pick up berries. You will have a relief of the paw print then. Go to rat village, trick the doorkeeper. Give berries and relief to the rat guy. He'll tell you where to go from there.

  • I raged before the fucking game even started.

  • fight likes five warriors? how appropriate you fight like a cow!

  • Halt Choda!

  • Ahhhh,my teen years' memories^^

  • Nice game. And you know what this means. Hehehe

  • I had played this version recently using DOSBox and running it on that. I didn't get as good of a resolution, but I did have the original midi's to play :P Also, because of the frame rate, or for whatever reason, some dialog was missing during one or two scenes. Great video regardless.

  • I did have the original midis, but I was using a soundpack because I don't have a Roland GS synth. The soundpack makes midi files sound better.

  • Ey, I can see what you meant by the sound being really high-pitched in some areas. You should have lowered the audio some to bring more focus to the voices. Also, your version has a higher resolution than what I played, but I guess that is because of Scumm.
