with fake paper money, we are always surrounded by these problems. solution to all these problem is to come toward currency with intrinsic value. And kick off fake banking system out of world.

In the first parts where she explained the details of the problem Jane D'Arista gave us very valuable information. She really dominates the field. But when it comes to the SOLUTION... well, she looks incapable, not knowing what to do. That is a result of her reformist world-view. She wants to bring forth a "solution" within the limits of capitalism.
Don't assume the otherwise educated and well informed in their field, understand economics and get the 'big picture'. Advisors are generally from a politically correct school of thought.
Bush "relied on advisers" about Saddam's Nuclear and WMDs, now Obama's is "relying on advisers" about the financial bail out. Sounds like another excuse to dodge responsibility on the part of the President. I don't care who the President is relying on, the buck stops at his desk.

Come on this interview was good but please your questions to this lady need to be more direct Obama does know whats going on .The average guy in the street knows its corrupt why not obama. This is becoming like mainstream interviewing. You will lose your base if you dont confront people even if they are genuine like this lady.
It just sound like political rhetoric to me people can see through sitting on the fence we need something a bit more real than that! This is serious!
The Market is independent of governments and countries and have existed since the begining of time. Yes, national curriencies, by definition are government created, but they are not market currencies. What the people wish to use as money is not governement created, while it could be government mandated.
The purpose and effect of all large scale business is to distort markets. This is why they emphasize large scale buying, market capture and branding in business school, so that people either have no other options (see cable service/energy service), the other options can't compete(see microsoft/helathcare/banking/large scale cost reductions) or aren't visible to most people(and so on, branding, advertizing dominance ect)
markets only share a portion of business considerations.
I just think that if people understood that 'fairness' has little to do with financial outcomes they'd be less apt to accept the corrupt game they inherited and more likely to find justification in democracy informing economic arrangements.
At the very least if one believes in the free market you should be in favor of government intervention to maintain it (break up monopolies, don't allow companies to contribute to politicians, maintain an independent media and so on)

End the Fed. Regulation is useless if the Fed can create money out of thin air. Her suggestions are worthless.

#1 The Corporations own the Media
#2 YouTube is owned by a Corporation
#3 This woman belongs to a Scholarly Think Tank that has academic parameters on Political speech, you try to hedge your language in neutral speech
#4 She might actually be "tapped" by the White House for advice, so she doesn't want to burn her bridges
#5 All power access is a concentric series of shells of increasing surrender of Open Speech
- all this as evil and heartbreaking but true

The market is the regulator. Always has always will be.
The market wil end the fed. Take your deposits out of the system an the Fed will end. It's that simple. Don't particpate in their system.
BlueEagle8 2 years ago
Do you have a dollar in your wallet? Then you are supporting the Federal reserve. Hah
Markets don't regulate themselves, don't be so foolish.
percymate 2 years ago 6
@percymate
Well it depends.
Markets with low barriers to market entry
OR Venture Capital markets
Those are self regulating. Because the threat of entry of new competitors into the market is ever-present.
However markets with high barriers to market entry, without Venture Capital rates of investment return are NOT self regulating.
Since they don't have that self regulating mechanism.

'the markets' are a government creation, starting with national currencies.
Good luck explaining that to the average Youtube Libertarian.
