to play a harmonic, lightly touch the string with your finger above the fret where u want the harmonic (so, 12th in this case), but don't actually push down. It is important that your finger placement is exact, place it directly above the actual fret line. Then, play the string, and the harmonic will ring. The cool part is that after you play, i you let go of your fretting finger, the note will continue ringing.

that looks more like around the 9th fret, 12 would be louder, and a different note. try it, it's not the 12th fret.
