I am not a guitar snob, but the live version Mayer does is very easy, and sounds alot better. I can't see how someone would struggle with the real version, it has about 5 positions very low on the fret board.
lol, this is like the easiest song ever!! but it still rocks! no doubt about that! did, anyone see him on the superbowl halftime. his voice sounded great!!
Hey man, I posted it this way by request. I think it helps to be able to play it diffrent ways. What's the fun when everyone sits around and plays the exact same thing? This goes great with the GCCGD progression as a background riff. Once you play it this way a few times it's actually much easier, not more complicated! Then again everyone is diffrent and that's just another reason for more than one take on a song. Thanks for the comment! Peace! BTW It's still a 3 chord song this way...
Could you please put tabs??? I coudnt hear which frets you said to put your fingers on. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

D,Dsus4,Asus4 are indeed the 3 correct chords to this song and it is the easiest song in the world to play

Or for a simpler version of the last note, you could just lift your middle finger, it helps for starters
