hate when EA promote Gimmicks instead of focusing on the issues they had last year. Played the demo..animation is robotic..doesnt feel fluent like 2k..since i like simulation, im going with 2k. You like Arcade like gaming, NBA live 10 is for you.

Live over the last few years has been so limited because of the boxed in number of dribble moves and shots that a player could do. Almost inevitably, the price of being specific is putting limits on things. When moving the right stick to the left means the player moves the ball to the left, you're going to miss out on a lot because there are only so many directions that you can move it in. By using the idea of face ups, 2K took care of that issue. Hopefully, Live is moving in the right direction

Why would Chris Paul rip it and then run slow after it?? When he rips it he gets it at full speed and into transition 99.9% of the time. Unrealistic game LIVE is. Kids have fun with it this year.

I agree that NBA Live has gotten better this year but one guy in Mike Wang is not going to just boost the EA sports so high that it will win the NBA's best simulation game this year. We'll just have to see what happens with 2k. But i'm liking what I see out of EA. Let's see what 2k brings to the table.

i dont recall hustle plays being called a feature, as marcus stephenson said another live gameplay designer... those are just game play advancements.. plus i have nba 2k9 and live 09 all though 2k is more fluid, it slides to much... also live is more structured you have to actually use your team, in 2k if you have a star thats the only person you have to use... although i do like 2k9 more this year, but live is going to take it... 2k also has an obsessine number of stolen passes which means FAKE

I'm glad EA didn't get an exclusivity deal for the NBA too. sometimes i wonder if this is what madden would look like if it had to compete against the 2k brand. get it together EA. seriously, how was there no contact created on any of those plays? it's like they all operate independent of each other. but don't get me wrong, i'm soooo grateful that you graced us with shiny new diving for the ball animations (rolls eyes)
