  • So it's not a contribution to tell other people? C'mon.

  • No pressure

    They explode

    I JUST GOT IT!

  • Jesus fucking Christ, why are there so many people who think this is ACTUALLY what 10:10 are recommending? It's self-deprecating humour. Richard Curtis is a comedy genius, and it shows in this advert.

    Arrrgh!

  • Hey it's entertaining to watch and gets the message across in ways that otherwise wouldn't, Do you people object to seeing Jason cut people in half after the victims are doing "immoral things" in the woods?

  • @razoreye001 No because it's not openly preaching to me about those things being bad. :V

  • So not wanting to go green is enough to warren the VIOLENT MURDER OF CHILDREN AND INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS!?!?!?!?!?!?!? What... the... HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU SHIT-TARDS!? Hey, how's about I ask you to give me back the 4 minutes of my life I wasted on this filth or I blow your head off... No Pressure!

  • ...yeah thats just a great way of getting people to join your side. This makes me feel dirty being a green activist.

  • Humanity is terrible; the only way they'll truly listen is violence.

    Just my opinion

  • This... is the most insane commercial I've ever seen...

  • This was made by climate change denialists, right?

  • Cut your carbon omissions.

    Go green, instead of red.

  • Cut yer carbon, or we'll 'splode you into a bloody pulp? Seriously?

This GOT to be a parody, right? RIGHT?

    Also, reported.

  • @digitalAngst Nope, they were trying to make a point using Monty Python humor. Kind of came back to bite them in the butt because it offended a few people.

  • Isn't this campaign just great?

We're doing 10:10. Everybody who's going to do so, please raise your hands ^-^

    Great.

Oh, I see you didn't raise your hands. Well that's okay, no pressure, don't worry about it, just let me press this button here and..

    *KERSPLODE*

Lovely then! That''s less people who will oppose what we're trying to do. Let's get participation to a hundred percent shall we?

Surely murdering nonconformists in cold blood will make everything better for everyone ^-^

    Carry on!

  • lol

  • "Do as we say, or we'll murder you."

  • I find it incredibly offensive that you people would associate this video with people concerned about the environment. "Love Actually" is a vile show.

  • The next logical step for eco-terrorists

  • fucking eco-tards are the same all over, do as I say not so much as I do....

  • @durbanbudz Wow, I had no idea you knew everyone in the "green movement". How many are there exactly?

  • I may be wrong of course, but I get more than a hint of a feeling that this was done with a knowing sense of irony. Curtis strikes me as the kind of person who really couldn't care less.

  • @arumdevil

I agree completely. Poe's Law is in full effect here.

  • that is sickening... Eco-Facism is a scary trend, they would seek to remove many of our most fundamental civil liberties in support of their unproven and unfounded theories.

...Perhaps some of the Green-freaks actually believe in what they're selling, but they're the idiots, they're not to be feared or even acknowledged, it's people like Al Gore and the Duke of Edinburgh who people need to keep a close watch on... they seem to propose that humanity is a cancerous growth, killing the earth!

  • OK 2nd attempt, apologies if this appears twice.

The only man capable of making this is the man who made Love Actually, which is even more nauseating than this wibble.

  • oh dear. how did anyone think this could work?

  • Police state advertisement.

  • um...

  • For perhaps the first time in my life, I'm absolutely speechless............

  • Quieren manipularte metiendote miedo. Bastardos!. Yo no lo voy a permitir, tú no lo permitas. Piensalo.

  • Not so subliminal message here => participate in the globalist carbon emissions reduction sham, or die! Pathetic last ditch effort.

  • Mr Curtis you could have better saved the planet by not wasting the resources it took to make your silly little sixth form level video. My seven year old could have come up with something better. How very disappointing. I wish celebrities would stick to what they are good at and stop trying to save the planet. Get back to your desk and concentrate on writing comedy scripts.

  • Actually quite funny. Dont see what the fuss is about.

  • @Pizbot - If you think it's funny to watch children get dismembered then I would press that button for you.

  • @StormCloudsGathering Oh, cry me a river you sanctimonious, whiney, puss.

  • @Pizbot Murdering children?

  • Tell me one thing, why do they never bring up the fact that every child you have is 100% MORE LIFETIME emissions? You'd think that would outweigh any kind of 10:10 thing you might come up with. Mostly I'm amused by people who are trying to save 10% but have 3 kids (Or even one for that matter), utterly clueless about the whole thing.

Not that I disbelieve climate change--I think it's inevitable and we can't do a thing about it without killing an impractical number of people with red buttons.

  • The eco message is correct but this video is a sad reminder that the good guys of the world completely suck at PR while the bad guys get away with murder.

  • truly a disgusting video. I'm not impressed.

  • I personally found it light-hearted, that the idea was that those who didn't take action (in effect doing nothing to prevent climate change) would end up dead and that those who did, would live to see a future. Talking long-term here.

I think people are too easily offended. If considered apart from the argument at hand, this ad is nothing worse than people see in real life... except a bit less realistic.

  • This takes it too far and is likely to have the opposite effect to that intended.

But talk about the one really really effective thing that would reduce energy consumption in the long term, which is population control, then the eco-freaks suddenly start shuffling their feet or finding that slight stain on their shirt terribly interesting...

I worry about this issue, not because of the issue, but because it gives governments the excuse to do all sorts of nasty stuff they wanted to do anyway...

  • just sick, what kind of wierdos would show that kind of thing being done to children

  • Logical premise: if we don't stop environment haters, the world...will die *gasp* But wait! What if we kill these bad environment haters. The world *clasps hands to mouth, eyes wide* will LIVE...! Go retake any 101 science class, understand the scientific approach, then critically examine the articles put forth on the issue. Attempt to be an impartial judge of the issue, see what you find. I challenge you.

  • If he had to write down the point he was trying to make in this film he would not be able to ... because the layers of ironic bullshit would confuse even him

  • If he had to write down the point he was trying to make in this film he would not be able to ... because the layers of ironic bullshit would confuse even him

  • genius!

  • There is so much wrong with this video I don't know where to start.

  • Thats sick! Evil infact.

  • omg!!

  • Typical Eco-Loon approach to arguments. If you do not agree with us, then you deserve to die.

" Go on holiday by train for example " When was the last time the video maker travelled by train in the UK? Its like a fucking zoo in those carriages, So expensive that its ofetn 3 times cheaper to actually fly to your destination....and unless trains have suddenly been invented that are powered by thin air..the bloody thing either uses power station electricity or shit loads of diesel!

  • @Halberd1216 - "When was the last time the video maker travelled by train in the UK?"

Probably never. You see, they buy enough "carbon credits" so that they can "offset" the emissions from their limousines and private jets. Can't afford $1,000 worth of "carbon credits?" Sorry! It's the zoo train for you, comrade.

  • @Halberd1216 shame I don't have the button to press for you. You've missed the point.

  • Shit I hate these Greenie fucks. My kids are taught old school by there grounded Dad. GLOBAL WARMING IS A FUCKING LIE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes, we must cut our emissions, or be blown to bits in the process, big incentive there :D (sarcasm)

  • I think they have blown up the wrong people...

  • superb!!!!

    no pressure.

  • THE SMUG ECOMENTALIST KUNTS. OH GOD, PLEASE GIVE THEM AIDS.

  • I'm going to burn something now.

Put a bit more Carbon Dioxide in the air.

  • I'm leaving the central heating on 24/7 to make up for all the do gooders.

  • Utter horseshit.

  • I might start thinking that people are 'making a difference to saving the planet' when they stop going to work for big corporations to perpetuate the insanity of the modern work ethic, or stop going to retail chain stores to pursue a crazy retail therapy lifestyle ie. thinking that buying goods made in Far East sweatshops that they don't need will make them any happier. Can't see any government backing those ideas somehow - so cognitive dissonance will continue.

  • Richard Curtis is a tit.

  • Filthy eco-Nazis and their totalitarian scam.

  • Very intelligent look at the intimidation technique of the econazis. Those who believe that CO2 is a danger, I have one suggestion: stop breathing, you're killing the planet!

Seriously, this 10:10 nonsense is a crock. What impact is man and industry having on the environment is negligible compared to what the military-industrial complex is doing. Google geoengineering aerosol for more info.

  • @loginregional but even is it is a negligible amount its not gonna do any harm to reduce the amount of shit we individualy produce. its stupid to say that someone else is emitting more pollution than i am, so i can do what i want..wheres the progress? but it is a bad video

  • @sam123jones you say, it is stupid to say that someone else is polluting more? Duh! Look at Barrick Gold! Look at 3M! Look at Union Carbide! THESE are the polluters, not me, not you! And if you use some kind of TWISTED LOGIC to arrive at a mathematical and moral solution of who pollutes more, I still say, BLAME THESE CORPORATIONS, and the people in guvmint who allow them!

  • @loginregional ok its always going to be the case that these big corporations will always produce more harmful pollutants and the complete neglect they show in trying to cut costs is unforgivable. but they have already fucked up themselves..we are in no position to say they are the ones polluting because it all comes down to the consumer..we are the ones responsiable for the huge floating island of plastic..slightly different i know but its all part of a bigger picture

  • this propaganda is sick!!!

  • This is a really sick video with comi-gore visual allusions to suicide bombers. The children will therefore lap it up. However, they might be deluded into believing that there that if they they don't go home and convert their parents then something horrible will happen to them or their parents or the planet of a polar bear. Propagating such doomsday cultism is child abuse.

The actress playing the schoolteacher has got it spot on as a parody of mindless greenie teachers. Hilarious, but sick.

  • Jamie Glover, the child-actor who plays the part of Philip and gets blown up, said: "I was very happy to get blown up to save the world."

If anyone misses the tragedy of that statement then there's really no help for you.

Wear your yellow star with pride, people.......get some self-defense classes in.
