I guess though the show and the books both have seperate universes that can be tweaked. A book can only have so much and if trueblood continues it may soon overpass the books and need to create new storylines. I would love to see some of these Vampires in the show, it would only add credence to the viral marketing as canon for the universe. They did a great job
