It was on Topgear in the episode where James and Richard are racing Jeremy from Italy to London. Hammond and May are in a plane and Clarkson a Bugatti Veyron. The music is used in a scene at sunset as Clarkson talks in awe about the Veyron as they reach the outskirts of Paris

Is this actually from Schuberts 'unfinished symphony' or just a play on the name? If it is Schubert's which movement? Its amazing! I Love it! I too have been looking for it for years, it was on a ministry of sound album I had that I never had the cover for. Then heard it on top gear and I just had to find it. Trippy thing is, I always picture a darkened and melancholy sea when I hear it, just like the one on this vid...weird!

i think is not schubert, this doesn't sound like the romanticism era, schuber still uses classical harmony but in his way, is more liric, you should listen to his lieds, and the harmony of this song sounds more like impresionist, it sounds like a weird mix of ravel, debussy, satie and the hybrid dj

This just smacks you in the face. I mean, Jeremy from top gear was driving the Bugatti Veyron on a nice french sunset. You can't ask for more. This stuff makes you dream but it also makes you think DEEPLY. It's amazing.

This track, titled unfinished symphony (soundtrack edit) is on ministry of sound chilled 1 if anyone is interested. I have a special reason why I love this tune so much but I won't go into that now! To me it's a beautiful, evocative piece of music.
