That computer is fucking flawless. If it was be trying to get back into the fight, it would have probably taken me like 5-6 minutes to get in. (no joke)
you can go in regardless of key just to see him if you are curious, the orb requires the key, it is basically a device to inform him that there are intruders.
malygos was used in the warcraft sunwell trilogy books because hes the lord of the blue dragons (like kalecgos in sunwell enen though kalecgos is good in the books)
the dps was fine, but you need to stack the sparks 2-3 times on p1, we had him down to 40% ish when p3 started. tank needs to wake up.
and btw, you can heal yourself on the drakes, and use the shield if you get aggro, also sprint away from the aoe, so you don't really have a reason to die lol

p.s. you don't "get aggro" in p3, he directs his gaze at you, and you're supposed to use the shield.
he isn't underpowered because this fight can take up to 30 minutes if you want to win. It's almost impossible to win if you do it the way blizz wanted you to because in phase 3 he has over 6500k hp. You don't have enough dps to take care of that

Uhm the fact of this fight is that he has gone insane, and plans to kill all magic users, he is bringing the blue dragon flight through his realm into Azeroth and plans to destroy the world, and I believe the next aspect will be Neltharion, the Earth Warder, now known as Deathwing the Destroyer (the whole reason Malygos is insane and now a raid boss) might be Wotlk, might be a new expansion IDK, seeing from Blizzard's pattern there might be 2 or 3 more xpacs. (estimate, don't call me on it.)
Actually, Malygos isn't insane anymore. Tyrigosa brought a bunch of netherdrakes to the Nexus and somehow they let him regain his sanity. The reason he's doing all these things is because magic users are running amok and nearly destroyed Azeroth THREE times now. He's a raid boss because the player characters don't want to loose their magic. Remember, WotLK is all about shades of moral grey. Heck, for all we know, Maly is actually the good guy here o.O
Well, the Spell Casters were what brought the Burning Legion in, and the Orcs in. He does nto want the mortals being so careless, so he wants to take away that power from them.
Still, I believe he's part mad. Going on a murderous rampage is not the best way to deal with it.

There is no way in hell that a 10 man raid could take on an Aspect and have a prayer of doing anything to him. Plus (if those really were red dragons near the end) that is way off. The red dragon flight of Alexstraza would never consent to attacking Malygos unless he was as insane as Deathwing.

yes your right, they have the 10 man version so people can see end game stuff easier/gear up for the 25 man version. and also, he kind of HAS gone insane, hes declared war on ALL magic users. so hes gone insane enough for the red dragonflight to step in.
He is as insane as Deathwing. He wants to start killing anyone who uses magic, essentially purging entire magic using races, like humans, blood elves, ect.
As for the 10-man raid thing, I dunno. Hell, Thrall and Grom 2 manned a pit lord, so maybe we can 10-man a dragon aspect with the help of an entire dragonflight?

And a quick addition: I tried to heal this fight on my pally... ow. tank had 45k buffed (druid) and he dropped like a stone, when the t7 priest and i were healing (10-man) and the other priest was on CoH during the fight. He lives up to his title by far.

Neltharion againts Alextrasza in an epic head to head battle as their two flights battle around them. Mabye they both die? It seems now that the Aspects are fated to fall, one by one. I just feel bad for Krasus if his Queen falls.
i agree with noobmaster123 blizz kinda fucked up on the orignal wow also, because how can you kill ragnaros he is a elemental god same with the other elemental god of air were you get the legendary sword thunderfury. that throws the stroryline off because after wotlk it should be all about the elemental gods and aspects/titans with the emerald dream. they fuck up on naxx in normal wow that should been out in wotlk cause like makes no sense it being in Eastern PL. killing aspects lol.

Or Arthas, Illidan, Nefarion, Kael'Thas, And all the other major charactors for that matter. I mean the dragons and old gods created the world! It doesnt make any sense whatsoever that they would be able to get killed because that would mean they would have to allow that to happen.

If you read up on this fight you would discover that the red dragonflight, Alexstrasza included, aid you. This is evident in phase 3 and throughout the fight as Malygos yells at you and the reds.
Aye it jumps around a lot, though supposedly the black dragons and red dragons are supposed to be significantly larger than the rest, which is definitely true about Alextrasza...she's huge in game :O
dang... i hate it tho that malygos gets killed....i was hoping blizz would think of a more creative way to save the most courageous flight...i mean they were the only ones to stand up to deathwing(which is why they got pwned in the beginning) and the ones to defend the sunwell with their lives...just kinda makes me sad:P
The one thing that really bothers me is resurrecting people that die during the dragon mount phase. Afterall, you can't really res a person that dies during the dragon mount part, since they appear to fall forever, and most self-respecting guilds like to resurrect the fallen before passing out loot. Is it even possible for a resser to recover the corpse once the fight is finished or is there some sort of gimmick?
1 question , do u actually kill malygos or do u just "defeat" him, cuz malygos has been always a nice guy, he and his aspect helped us push kil'jaeden back in his shit hole in sunwell and lot of other events in lore, personally i dont wanna see him getting killed
