The reason ronaldos are the most effective is because he does them so close to the defender or goalie. I have never seen a player do them so close to his opponent. They know which way he's gonna go. He always goes left. But he does them at full speed and does that last one so close to the defender which fools them. The player that has dropped the most goalies.

I have a question... Is it just me or does the ball roll REALLY far because they can do so many stepovers... when I play the most I can get is one stepover on the ball before it stops... I don't think it has anything to do with my stepover speed cuz I can do a lot on solid ground... How short is the grass in official soccer games?

you have to push the ball hard enough to make it roll but not really hard and the you do stepovers while the ball is rolling

it doesn't matter how short the grass is ... When I play I do 6-7 stepovers while the ball is still rolling .... you have to run with the ball fast enough , so that when you stop touching it , it keeps on rolling...then it's all about your legs and speed

Ronaldo does it the best he adds to each stepover vfor what he is doing and where he wants to go. Cronaldo (imposter ronaldo) just does it for show to distract defenders, and he even trips himself up in it. Cronaldo usually ends up stepping over in circles, where as Robinho and Ronaldo do it for the purpose of going FORWARD. Robinho and Cronaldo actually imporved their game when the chilled on all the fancy stepping overs. Both improved their scoring. Ronaldo9 is the best at it!

to be honest with you guys, it doesn't really matter if he gets yardage. stepovers are only a tool to help the player fake the defender. if c ronaldo does his really fast stepovers in place then gets fouled, which seems to happen a lot; there, now his team has a free kick. and also, if you havent noticed, c ronaldo is one of the fastest players in football right now, even WITH his stepovers. and also, as of right now, the top three on ur list are past their prime, c ronaldo is at the top now
