  • The Haunting and the Innocents are both excellent film adaptations of good books. the 90's version of the Haunting was lame compared to the original. i think there were later versions of The Innocents(Turn of the Screw) but ive never seen them.

This is the first "best of horror" video Ive seen that didn't have terrible death metal

  • Part 4 is the only one I didn't find. Part 8 is the last I can see from this and the users channel

  • the music is fuckin scary

  • Where is Part 9?! I got all the way through 8, and can't find 9 at all!!!!!

  • i saw one comment...where is "The Changling" with George C. Scott...and the Ring or the Grudge?

  • @kderdas1 this list already featured ju-on, the original version of the grudge

  • @kderdas1 The Changeling and The Grudge / Ju-On is on part 6 :) Dont know about The Ring

  • HAHAHAHA I was just thinking about night of the living dead, and here it is!

  • thanks for posting I forgot about some of these films and believe it or not I saw most before i was 12. I had evil adults in my family . hahah.

  • a pretty nice list your clip compilation but that NIN inspired computer music is dreadful.

Notice how the classics don't use bad music?

  • The Omen is my favorite. It's another example of Gregory Peck's amazing acting.

  • Muy muy buena la pelicula "The Innocenst", lástima que "The changeling" no hubiera estado más arriba en el conteo. Saludos.

  • I think that they should start making some horror movies that actually are horror. I just can't get scared anymore and fucking sucks. I need insanity horror at it's best. and that doesn't exist as far as I know.... I'm almost giving up on horror

  • I hope A Tale of Two Sisters made the list the asian Version! But I know this is your list but the older movies from the 50's and 60's are original in my opinion but not scary.

  • any modern day ones?........NOPE

  • Anyone see a resemblance between the Omen's kid riding his tricycle and the Shining?

  • that was gay you showed the omen for like 5 straight god damn minutes wow you have the worst picks dude im sorry but they are all gay

  • no doubt the scariest, most horrifying creatures are on TV and radio every night - well...haven' you seen the grisly product of the necromancer's conjuring e.g, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Rupert Murdock etc..... and sad fact is, he broke the pentagon!

  • need more asian movies

  • THE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD

    ROCKS!!!

  • I am proud to say i have seen all of these films, and they all deserve the spot they get. Although, I think The Haunting deserves a higher place; it is damn spooky.

  • these movies might be good....but i really can't watch these movies....i mean they don't appeal to modern audiences....

  • thats why you should see them man, i mean it's all about atmosphere. And these movies have it. But a recent very good horror/Thriller was Session 9 ,check out that one !

  • @texasB666 Somehow, Session 9 actually grows CREEPIER each time you watch it. O.O

  • you mean those who only want to see mutilation and torture of people?

  • The Haunting appeals to anyone with a frakkin imagination!

    classic baby allt he way

  • I'm 14 years old, and I love The Innocents and The Omen.

  • @TearInTheirHands i am 23 and i can beat ur ass up any where

  • @kingofdandi4 hahahah xD

  • i hope there is a lynch mocie in the last part ^^

  • good music chosen for the clip. i love the percussion. i don't like the synth.

  • Wicker man ?? you shouldnt even mention that movie in this video....that movie was fucking hilarious...me and my friend ran out the theatre laughing when they had to kill him for the corn to grow ...ppl were like staring at us

  • Maybe you watch the remake, it's horrible, i think it's with Nicholas Cage, but the original (the one in this clip) is excellent.

  • ohhhhh ok i didnt know there was an older version...the new one is funny btw :) i had to run out the theatre laffing when they tied up cage to kill him for the crops to grow.

  • Great job, thanks for the input

  • Night of the living dead is a great movie by romero, but why isn't dawn of the dead in it, which is, in my oppinion, Romero's best movie?

  • the Omen was a truly spooky movie, and exceptionally well made. Superb casting all around

  • U should add an Indonesian horror movie on your list. Kuntilanak and Sundel Bolong.

  • I found them on youtube. I will take a look at them and later i will comment about them...i planning to create a list of asian horror movies....thanks.

  • Ringu definietly if your goin Asian style.

  • @csnc82 Oh yes! Would love to see an Asian horror list! :D Wow, that will be quite a task, there are so many great ones.

So many of the remakes don't do them justice. The Grudge is a shining example; it lost so much of what made Ju-on so creepy. Kairo, another favorite, lost so much in its transition to Pulse.

  • watch any scary movie with blur-woohoo

in the background its class its nah even scary juh - on was like picnic

  • the innocents ive been trying to get that movie for ages..

  • the omen is one of my most favorite horror movies for sure. classic movie

  • i just have to see the Omen o.O!

  • I'm really interested in Kaidan and the innocents...haha, where the hell have these good horror movies been hiding?

  • i've only seen the remake of wicker man which was really bad! i guess i might check out the original

  • yeh the first ones got a good ending ......the other ones not really a remake ...

  • did they remake the haunting b4 like 10 years ago?
