@zekdom While you are right in what u say, look at it this way. In the final fight, luffy didn't cover crocodile with water, he just used his blood as water to fight him. So technically, crocodile was still as strong as before, but now luffy could touch him. It was shown that he could still use his df power when he launched that attack right before luffy's gomu storm.
@zekdom hey dude just forget everything. I think i know whats now one of Luffy's ace or main power is the hawk eye or hawk punch which means anything he punches explodes he used it to finish off hody with just one punch and Hody threw up all the drugs he took and lost consciousness.

Akainu was half as powerful as white beard but because of fatigue old age etc he was able to stand a chance.. fights in one piece are just more than who is stronger its more about circumstances and who has greater resolve.

@OKWU4U It's simple: Luffy took advantage of Croco-boy's weakness, just like how Luffy/Mr. 3 exposed Magellan's weakness. However, we wouldn't say that Luffy is stronger than Magellan, now would we? Then we shouldn't necessarily say that Luffy is more powerful than Crocodile, since Crocodile fought on par and/or at least inhibited the actions of Doflamingo, Akainu, and took a direct hit from Jozu and got back up.

@zekdom But see here's my problem. The the monster trio isn't on admiral level yet, but we can agree they're a notch above vice admiral. The strong trio is too strong to be at captain level. Putting them at vice admiral would make them on par with the monster trio and that isn't exactly right. And the weakling trio....well even ussop could easily defeat a marine captain. Tashigi is a captain now, right? While I do believe that while Usopp can beat a captain now, I'm not sure if Usopp is stronger than Tashigi. Even though Usopp could probably fight on par with Tashigi, more than likely.

@zekdom yeah. In Oda's interview Oda said if Enel was on blue sea his bounty would be 500,000,000 berries, he will be equal to Admiral. But yet he lost against Luffy because his power dont work on him, which made him fight Luffy with intelligence and physical strength.

@OKWU4U I do believe that there will be at least another training session, DBZ style, in which Luffy will be able to train three years worth for only three days. Either that, or Luffy will join forces with other powerful powers to fight the admirals. There's no way that Luffy is just as powerful as an admiral, at least now anyways. If luffy was a navy or marine officer he will be on Admiral rank Reasons 1 you need to know one Haki to be vice-Admiral because haki is extremely tough and hard to get but luffy already have all 3 Haki's which is impossible for others to get even 2 haki's. 2 he defeated 2 warlords one being crocodile who we saw being extremely strong mihawk was afraid to fight him he fought Akainu almost equal remember luffy beat that same crocodile 2 years ago so now I believe luffy can fight admiral n not lose

I would say that Enel is exceptionally strong, but in an anime where it's basically 'Rock, Paper, Scissors - Pokemon style,' then of course Luffy would have no trouble fighting him, except for having to chase Enel tediously. Crocodile's logia has an elemental flaw that Luffy knows how to expose, but only Crocodile could penetrate Akainu pre-time skip.

Anyway, while you guys are trying to nerf Crocodile and the Shichibukai, CROCODILE is the that took a direct hit from jozu, and got up the same way Aokiji did when jozu did the same. CROCODILE is the one that saved Luffy's ass from Milhawk when he was about slice him into rubberbands. CROCODILE is the one that walked out of the war nearly scratch free despite the fact that he did nearly all of the fighting.

@ultibman5000 Your making it seem like Luffy can just beat the admirals right now with no problem whatsoever. If Marco, jozu, and vista had trouble with the admirals why would luffy do any better just because we had 2 years of training? Even BB ran away from akainu. Nobody hates on luffy, and nobody is denying that he definently got way stronger, but the "20%" of us are just being realistic.

You forgot to mention that Jimbe wants to accept luffy's offer to join the crew, which means he's VERY close to becoming a NN. You also made a point which I never thought of, what if smoker wants to help the SH instead of attack them? I highly doubt it but its a nice theory.

@potterinhe11 new world is not just next to grand line but NEW WORLD is the other half of GRAND LINE, in general that's why they say "if you conquer the GRAND LINE you become the pirate king" and remember before the time skip the navy headquarters was ruling over the grand line and they said the 4 emperors (yonkos) are ruling the other half of the grand line which is known as NEW WORLD.

You guys know how Captain kids pirates and Law pirates fought together to defeat the pacifista 2 years ago now it may be the Straw hats pirates and Captain kids pirates vs BIG MOM pirates.
Well Akainu is a strong believer of "absolute justice" so you can imagine that the new Admirals will most likely be people who have similiar views, due to Akainu's influence as the new Fleet Admiral. Hence I think Onigumo and Doberman are in for a shot. Magellan may also be a possibilty because he is quite an adept fighter with a powerful DF ability.
alot of people speculated that smoker would take an Admiral spot, being the "White Snake" or something similar following Aokiji's departure and Akainu's premotion. But Oda put that to rest by revealing Smoker is now Vice Admiral rank. Which leaves the question, who else is Admiral rank at this point? Magellan?

Zoro, like dark king, disappeared after Luffy's death and devote to the art of sword. Tashigi gets pregant and stays with Marine.

If I was Luffy, I would have a plan to get the One Piece really fast:First, I would convince Shirahoshi to go with me. Then I would go to the New World and directly sail northbound along the Redline. Protected and pulled by Seakings, it would be an Ease to cross Calm Belt and enter North Blue. At the North Blue I would continue sailing along Calm Belt and plunder every island in my sight.When I'd finally reach the RedLine again, I would simply cross Calm Belt again and be the sneaky Pirate King!

@OKWU4U It's simple: Luffy took advantage of Croco-boy's weakness, just like how Luffy/Mr. 3 exposed Magellan's weakness. However, we wouldn't say that Luffy is stronger than Magellan, now would we? Then we shouldn't necessarily say that Luffy is more powerful than Crocodile, since Crocodile fought on par and/or at least inhibited the actions of Doflamingo, Akainu, and took a direct hit from Jozu and got back up.

@zekdom But see here's my problem. The the monster trio isn't on admiral level yet, but we can agree they're a notch above vice admiral. The strong trio is too strong to be at captain level. Putting them at vice admiral would make them on par with the monster trio and that isn't exactly right. And the weakling trio....well even ussop could easily defeat a marine captain. So I'm kinda stuck

@shizzaun14 Yeah, the monster trio should be a notch above an admiral. Oh definitely, the strong trio would be of higher skill than a captain, but not on the same level as a vice admiral. Tashigi is a captain now, right? While I do believe that while Usopp can beat a captain now, I'm not sure if Usopp is stronger than Tashigi. Even though Usopp could probably fight on par with Tashigi, more than likely.

@shizzaun14 Ah, I think Chopper would be the strongest of the "weakling trio," while Nami would be slightly stronger than Usopp. My reasoning is that Usopp, as Oda himself stated, is the character that is closest and most similar to a human in terms of strength of real world standards.

It's not like that filler arc when they just happened to find aokiji and they fought. Not saying luffy is as strong as a admiral he is a knotch above vice-admiral. He defeated a vice-admiral giant during the war with ease. Regardless if how long it took him, Luffy did beat crocodile. If luffy wasn't "worthy" then he never would have beaten him in the first place.

And yea mihawk stared at him, then they cut awayto another scene...since when does "staring" at somebody mean there afraid of them. Based on your logic that means WB shoulda been afraid if mihawk when he attacked, akainu shoulda been afraid of WB, and Kizaru whould been afraid of the WB commanders.

Luffy lost to crocodile cuz he wasn't able to touch him and he lost 2nd time cuz crocodile destroyed the water luffy was carrying but 3rd time it was luffy's blood crocodile cant destroy that, thats why he lost. now luffy has haki so theres noway crocodile can beat luffy anymore. never happens in anime

@OKWU4U I do believe that there will be at least another training session, DBZ style, in which Luffy will be able to train three years worth for only three days. Either that, or Luffy will join forces with other powerful powers to fight the admirals. There's no way that Luffy is just as powerful as an admiral, at least now anyways. I suggest that you sharpen your academic acuity and learn how to pay attention to detail, but I'm just saying. Luffy is not able to fight admirals, now. Done!

If luffy was a navy or marine officer he will be on Admiral rank Reasons 1 you need to know one Haki to be vice-Admiral because haki is extremely tough and hard to get but luffy already have all 3 Haki's which is impossible for others to get even 2 haki's. 2 he defeated 2 warlords one being crocodile who we saw being extremely strong mihawk was afraid to fight him he fought Akainu almost equal remember luffy beat that same crocodile 2 years ago so now I believe luffy can fight admiral n not lose

@OKWU4U Actually, Luffy's bounty was 300,000,000 at the time, but I see your point. In terms of strength, Crocodile is stronger. I would say that Enel is exceptionally strong, but in an anime where it's basically 'Rock, Paper, Scissors - Pokemon style,' then of course Luffy would have no trouble fighting him, except for having to chase Enel tediously. Crocodile's logia has an elemental flaw that Luffy knows how to expose, but only Crocodile could penetrate Akainu pre-time skip.

@OKWU4U Actually, when Luffy was arrested (Magellan thrashed him), he was put in level 5. Anyway, while you guys are trying to nerf Crocodile and the Shichibukai, CROCODILE is the that took a direct hit from jozu, and got up the same way Aokiji did when jozu did the same. CROCODILE is the one that saved Luffy's ass from Milhawk when he was about slice him into rubberbands. CROCODILE is the one that walked out of the war nearly scratch free despite the fact that he did nearly all of the fighting.

If Marco, jozu, and vista had trouble with the admirals why would luffy do any better just because we had 2 years of training? Even BB ran away from akainu. Nobody hates on luffy, and nobody is denying that he definently got way stronger, but the "20%" of us are just being realistic.

Well Akainu is a strong believer of "absolute justice" so you can imagine that the new Admirals will most likely be people who have similiar views, due to Akainu's influence as the new Fleet Admiral. Hence I think Onigumo and Doberman are in for a shot. Magellan may also be a possibilty because he is quite an adept fighter with a powerful DF ability.

with smoker waiting on the surface for the strawhats, i have a feeling, and im hoping, that we get to see even more, the new strength of the nakama.... though oda could make it so they try to escape smoker once they reach the surface and see him.... i dunno but yh that could happen... :P

If I were Odae, I would end the story: Boa Hancock and Luffy together for a short time. Then Luffy, like Gold Roger, becomes ill and dies in a grand execution. Boa Hancock carries their child and disappear from public view. Sanji and Nami together, never married. Tashigi and Zoro are life-long rival, but inside, love each other. So one night, they had sex. Zoro, like dark king, disappeared after Luffy's death and devote to the art of sword. Tashigi gets pregant and stays with Marine.
