  • dude this shit caused so much traffic. i couldnt even get to burger king for christs sake.

  • Thanks for sharing this video clip. I have the version from C-span but love this one because It's said Obama first got bit by the politics bug when he was asked to give a speech and heard his voice echo off buildings on to a crowd. I've heard the grant park version from the crowd and it's way better with the echo going over the crowd, It's like a one-two punch that inspires you.

  • you're very welcome! :)

  • I come back to this clip over and over; it is the most inspiring for me. I like this version, with the ground-floor perspective and that final grand sweep of the crowd and the lighted 'Vote For Change' sign, because it's just so much what this is all about. Thank you!

  • *grins* you're welcome! thanks for the comment! i always love trying to capture the essence of an event. i'm really glad you like it! it was SUCH an exciting time. :)

  • OMG i was there that night, all the way in the back there was about 85,000 ppl.and my mom, who by the way is a diabetic, was with me, and it was like 30 degrees, BUT it was worth it. i love this man and i will never forget that night, i will support him for the next 7 1/2 yrs LOL

  • he did real well that night...considering he just lost his grandmother before that speech.
