I use to live, eat and breath WoW. Lost many jobs from it so ya I was addicted. Eventually it was a point where I couldn't afford to keep playing with no job. Started working nights which wouldn't allow me to raid with my guild which was a big loss to them and it sucked, was one of the best healers on our server, best in our guild so it felt like I was loosing a big piece of my life, something that made me feel great. Haven't played in months but It still whispers to me.. I even dream about it.
@avengersoul there are times where I still hold the disc's and almost install it, its that bad. Just have to keep telling yourself that it for the most part ruined your life in the past and its not worth it. People may laugh and say that its just a game, but this puts you in a situation where you can be very popular, people rely on you.... its an escape from the boring day to day. Best advice I can say is stay away from it. Its not worth it.

I just finished ICC25. There is nothing left. Cata won't come out for at least 4 months. I finally cancelled my account ... After 5 years.... I'll probably pick it back up when Cata comes out. But let me ask you a question, If you spend $15 a month on a hobby, models for example, and someone told you that you're an addict, what would you say? Ok here is the thing, in short it feels like theres a point in playing, but in long its completely pointless, put it this way lets say you spend hours and hours and become one of the top 100 players in the game and they release the sequel, and change all their servers over to that game and everyone changed to that game, what was the point of playing all those multiple hours of the game, level 80 isn't as awesome as reaching the top of mount Everest no matter how high you fly on a 280g hippogryph
been playing since the star of the game her in EU, and althoug ive had few periods when i did nothing but wow the whole day i do not need to play al the time.. besides i have the feeling that the players attitude has changed for the worst since WOTLK came out.. in the 1 to lvl 60 stage i had the feeling players were more social, nowadays you need link achievements and if a pug whipes ppl start namecalling and fingerpointing. making the game less attractive than used it to be
very true, i think the game is alot less addictive than it used. Blizzard quoted, "The game is being more centered around casual players but there are still hardmodes for those who enjoy the hardcore aspects of the game" raids are much easier making it easier to get through so less time needed to play. I was fuckin hooked at 60, but now i'm casual at 80.

You say not everyone has online yet it's more affordable to play ps3/ xbox 360 online than it is for WoW. Live being 59.99 a year and ps3 online being free. WoW being $180.00 US if you pay month by month for a year. A computer is also equal or more value to one of those systems. Ps3/Xbox360 addiction is just as big or bigger than WoW addiction. WoW never ending doesn't mean it's more addicting.

Ok here is the thing, in short it feels like theres a point in playing, but in long its completely pointless, put it this way lets say you spend hours and hours and become one of the top 100 players in the game and they release the sequel, and change all their servers over to that game and everyone changed to that game, what was the point of playing all those multiple hours of the game, level 80 isn't as awesome as reaching the top of mount Everest no matter how high you fly on a 280g hippogryph

been playing since the star of the game her in EU, and althoug ive had few periods when i did nothing but wow the whole day i do not need to play al the time.. besides i have the feeling that the players attitude has changed for the worst since WOTLK came out.. in the 1 to lvl 60 stage i had the feeling players were more social, nowadays you need link achievements and if a pug whipes ppl start namecalling and fingerpointing. making the game less attractive than used it to be

very true, i think the game is alot less addictive than it used. Blizzard quoted, "The game is being more centered around casual players but there are still hardmodes for those who enjoy the hardcore aspects of the game" raids are much easier making it easier to get through so less time needed to play. I was fuckin hooked at 60, but now i'm casual at 80.

You say not everyone has online yet it's more affordable to play ps3/ xbox 360 online than it is for WoW. Live being 59.99 a year and ps3 online being free. WoW being $180.00 US if you pay month by month for a year. A computer is also equal or more value to one of those systems. Ps3/Xbox360 addiction is just as big or bigger than WoW addiction. WoW never ending doesn't mean it's more addicting.

lol slow down the playing dude... like me i playd it and i managed to get a blood elf hunter 39 then i got bored off playing wow... my membership last out about 1 month from now and yeah... this game is kinda like weeds or a short of a drug lol. just stop it xD it is just crapp.. but sometimes it's a bit fun. but not all the time -.-*(if u dident get a clue is becasue that i'm going to bed now and i'm kinda half awake half sleeping lol)

i used to be a real god damn addict like i used to get up about 7 play till about 9 at night sit in my bed wait till mom went up then went back down the play then went to sleep at about 4 3 hours sleep then play but i hit lvl 56 by then no money couldnt lvl so what i did cause im a kid i cant start a memship again by myself so all i did was cancel membership and then went out playing footy now i play footy everyday instead of that but i wana play wow again after 1 year of not playing
