@pfvc95 First of all, your numbers are wrong. Mexico gained its independence from Spain in 1810 after being a colony of Spain since 1519. The Mexican-American war didn't start until 1846. Secondly, America was colonized by Europeans in 1492 (only a 27 year difference). America won it's independence in 1776 (only 34 years before Mexcio won theirs). Third, that the fuck difference does the counties age make? Technology didn't change much, they had everything the Americans had. Dumb fuck.

In my History class we studied their military strategies during the American Revolution, and they pretty much marched down the lane to be mowed down. They had no strategies what so ever plus they were also fighting Europeans like the French and the Irish at the time. Now, when they came back better prepared in 1812, there was no clear winner, in fact, the American military ran away a couple of times.

@pfvc95 First of all, your numbers are wrong. Mexico gained its independence from Spain in 1810 after being a colony of Spain since 1519. The Mexican-American war didn't start until 1846. Secondly, America was colonized by Europeans in 1492 (only a 27 year difference). America won it's independence in 1776 (only 34 years before Mexcio won theirs). Third, that the fuck difference does the counties age make? Technology didn't change much, they had everything the Americans had. Dumb fuck.

All of Europe has been around longer than the US and the US is just as technologically advanced as any one of them let alone the US military power. @EggCandy It may have been the strongest military at the time but they were not the best. In my History class we studied their military strategies during the American Revolution, and they pretty much marched down the lane to be mowed down. They had no strategies what so ever plus they were also fighting Europeans like the French and the Irish at the time. Now, when they came back better prepared in 1812, there was no clear winner, in fact, the American military ran away a couple of times.

It is virtually impossible for an American citizen to be deported to mexico. After Texas gained independence from Mexico, some mexicans left on thier own and when the US, declared war on mexico, people who fought on the side of mexico were shot and taken prisoner regardless of citizenship. The last time some American citizens were accidentally deported was in the 1950's whenUS citizens who didn't speak english were deported along with mexican-born immigrants.
