@93Allene The 2.4L responds well to mods and with just an intake they have run high 14's. But typically arent a match for the 4.0L's mustangs. Though they have no issue with the older 3.8s. But the 2.4Ls do love boost!
i posted it its called vid from my phone. this was almost 4 years ago and see how inexperienced i was..take in to consideration i have a 300 ilb pass. 2 12 inch subs n box and i was in drive..thats all im trying to say..who knows som cars are a bit faster then others.

i know you never said that, but that v6 you raced should be faster then mine (based on the mods you listed he had) all i orginally said was you prob wouldn't catch up to him (b/c you said if it lasted a little longer you would catch him).
thats what i was trying to say.then i had the stock 16s horible traction and i could not floor it..then i discover to manualy shift and got the "245"s.once again im not tryin to seem like im all fast when im not
actually yes back then i was slow on reaction and just kept it in drive.after a few months after i learned to shift from 1-2-D(od off)-od...but i never shift into od cus no need to go 115.and yes if u manualy shift it a certain way it is better. tires break lose all the time. (245 40 zr17s) more than enough
just to let you know reaction does not matter for your 1/4 mile time, it doesnt start to count until you break the line so you can sit there for 5 min and still run a 14.5
also no he wont pull any harder on me...im not trying to act as if my stang is the shit but if ud like..stevegotattoos..is his brother..and if ud like i can give u his email..he would tell u the same thing he only pulled ahead cus of the extra 300lbs and gearing.. and then i would start to creep closer n closer slowly..
sry im replying on ur vid cus im on mobile utube....but idk were u are getting that i run a 16 sec 1/4....last time i ran that was when i was a noob driver and 1st time at the track. and yes 15.3 is the fastest she has been with out bottle
i think you said it in that same convo i seen you say you ran a 15.3. either way you have an auto you can be half retarded and still get within .2-.3 of your best run every time, so you not knowing how to drive back then really is a bad excuse
...2.4L is the crap SS... 2.0 is where they get fast with the sc/tc.
both not really impressive mods though.

by reaction i mean i used to gas it slow then floor it..i was 16..almost 4 years ago. didnt know how to drive that well..thats y i have a v6.slushbox
