hahaha I would hate for them to have looked after balanced image he had to have a special stall with glass as bars because he would try to get from his stall. Most race horse studs are like that.Y? I don't know it's almost like they know they're good and deserve special treatment compared to other horses.
It would be appreciated it all the John Henry fans of the world would post their memorable moments on the JohnHenryBlog. Since he passed away the blog has not received any comments. Please do not forget this legendary champion. Thank you!
I saw John Henry about 8 years ago. They had a few horses and paraded them out one afternoon.I really wanted to see the grave of Secretariat but you must make reservations ahead of time and we didn't have the time to go to Paris,Ky.
We sometimes don't understand the importance of small actions until later. Cindy Rullman, director of marketing at the Kentucky Horse Park, contacted The Horse magazine in early August to tell us about John Henry and his walks around the park. (see TheHorse com article 10563 for more pictures and a compelling article on his death)
God love him! He is extremely intelligent (anyone who has worked with him will tell you this!) You have to wonder what he is thinking when he checks out the ponies? He probably gives them tips on longevity :-). See you soon John~John. Judy G (burbank, CA) XOXO
