  • At 1:00, I can hear the typical single coil buzz sound. How does he, and others, get away with that sound when recording? There are times I have had trouble with it and even sometimes it was so bad we couldnt use what I played.

  • THE BRENT MASON HOT WIRED PEDAL IS AWESOME . I HAVE THIS PEDAL IN MY COLLECTION

  • Why is there only 5 mins of video on a 9.36 clip????

  • This is one of the best player and ear on this planet

  • he s the best! this my heroe!

  • Yeah.

  • There is so much delay masking this it sounds like whatever but who the hell is Brent Mason? Anything else would sound the same.

  • @BluPup8 Brent Mason is one of the greatest country guitarist ever

  • @BluPup8 brent mason is one of the most, if not the most, recorded guitar players of all time. you can find his stuff here on youtube, but if you wanna know what records he's cut on, go to allmusic.com and look up his name. brent mason is the freakin' man.

  • This guy is a space ailien on guitar! Great!

  • That's Brent's original Fender Tele, the one that the Valley Arts guitar is modeled after. See the headstock and the worn primer?

  • NOW that is a pedal board? Is that made by Indy?

  • what kind of tele is he using?

  • my guess is its a valley arts or fender

  • its valley arts

  • no thats his fender

  • oh yeah, you're right, my mistake

  • That would be his Valley Arts signature guitar. Nice guitar. Not that expensive for a signature axe...somewhere around $2k

  • thats his fender mate, not valley arts. At this stage valley hadn't modeled his tele.

  • a 68 tele...with a mini humbucker on the neck pos and 2 single coils...the pickup in the middli pos has hot an extra volume!

  • It's a 60's American Std. He has done a lot of mods to it, including a middle pickup, a second vol control, etc.

Go to Valley Arts Guitars. They are owned by Gibson and they produce his artist model.

  • Damm! That shit looks like a Robocop pizza...

  • ahahahah

  • damn that's a monster of a pedal board!

  • Hi everyone. I've posted a full transcript (tab) on the album version of hot wired on my website. Please visit my channel for info on how to find it. It's all free too and how nice is that :-) hope you enjoy!

  • does anyone know where i can test one of these pedals out in a store i the NYC or NJ area

  • jejejej!!! qe loko bn sonidpo me gustaria parender a ticar guitarra!!! pero electrica jejejjejeje!!!

  • more videos of this pedal please......

  • I Have been searching the internet for the past 2 months for overdrive pedals to help improve my tone. This is the best sounding pedal that I have heard, that is for my personal taste. I was deciding between the xotic pedals and this one. I am going with this one, but i still may buy a xotic rc booster as well for my clean boost. I can't wait to get this pedal, it is on order as of now. I've listen to all the videos and this is one fine pedal. Brian, i must say , you've impressed me here.

  • as for overdrive pedals, try the sparkle drive by voodoo lab. it is a very versatile little box, plus it is capable of sounding EXACTLY like ts 808.

  • I forgot how great he is..

  • You should buy(or download. hehe....) his Hot Wired cd. It has so much in it. From groovy(very VERY groovy...) Blowin'g Smoke to the nice Bebob swing Swing With A Sting. I love it.... :D

  • That album is freaking impossible to find, even more so legally.

  • i must adit that i ripped it, since i had great difficulties in finding it as a physical cd, especially here in germany.

  • Which amps are you using?

  • Reminds me of stories about Coltrane - really only concerned with the music, not so good at the other stuff. Its kinda cool how he's stuck in BrentWorld, talking way over they average buyer's head about single coils and attack and open cabs. Probably not the best salesman, but at least he really cares about the music.

  • Probably if you were going for this pedal you'd know what those things mean. It's a bit boutique, not your Boss generic thing. Single Coil =eg Tele. Open Back =eg Fender combo. He's pitching for an older semi-pro, pro market. Sold me on a Brent Mason instructional DVD rather than the pedal though!

  • Hey Brian , for some reason i cant see the video after 5.37 - is it just me or somethings wrong with it ?

  • Is that a Paul Reed Smith he's playing after his tele?

  • yes, he really likes it too!

  • who doesn´t?!?!?!? lol

    thanks for the video!
