I don't know if you'll ever get to answer this, but One time I was filming something, and all sound was gone. I couldn't hear anything from it. It didn't make any noise except when I turned it on or off. It's like it was muted.

EVERYBODY! If you're planning on buying this camera, DON'T! It's outdated, and it has a ton of problems: No image stabilizer, terrible low-light performance, hard to edit the actual files on the computer, and it is just hard to hold...like a chocolate bar.

I suggest you people buy the Canon VIXIA HF-R100. It has full HD, image stabilizer, great LCD screen, easy to edit videos, awesome Cine Mode, great night-time performance due to night-shot mode, and it's just much better in every way!

@davomrmac Actually, in America, the Kodak costs me about $140. It's a nice camera, but with all the problems it has, I don't think it's worth it. Now the Canon in America is about twice as costly as the Kodak, but it's definitely worth it. In fact, I think that everything the Canon comes with and all of the features it includes is worth more than it's actual price. You should do a review if you ever get the chance to buy one.

@10BrickStudios Have to buy QuickTime PRO. Then open and load the video and export to a windows format. This camera is NOT recommended for windows users. It takes a VERY long time to convert video to windows format. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY unless you have a Mac.

I have a zi6 and I had to send it in for repairs because it never worked right. I froze up every time I used it. Many times it would freeze up after 3 seconds. Apparently it's a common problem. Also, some of the zi6's have that background buzzing or ringing noise, and others don't. I don't know... maybe there was a bad batch out there.

Get this, the Webbie MHS-CM1 has HORRID audio, and I mean HOOORRRID. And the MHS-PM1 has bad audio quality, and, because of here it's placed, every time you move your hands while your recording, it sound like your rubbing the mic with sand paper, so it's bad AND easily ruined.

Any tips you could give an amateur on how to actually get Zi6 to upload to youtube IN HD? You can look at my videos; the ones where I play the piano are done with the Zi6, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get it to upload in a higher quality.

Also, I love hearing people call it the Zed I 6. Sounds more kick-ass that way.

If you film in HD and don't edit or compress it with movie software, just upload the mov file the camera leaves on your desktop, it will upload to YouTube in HD.
