  • What happens if you have to throw up like that? Does puke get all up in ur nose?

  • I had a polyp only yesterday, I didn't even hear of them, but mine just came out because I was snorting so much! I'll know to get surgery if it comes back haha!

  • @MrGypsyLovelyFace

so now you cant snort do you use a needle?? i can grab a hold of my polyp with tweezers but am scarred to yank on it, do you think i can do it??

  • @teebrron No it just came out from all the hacking and snorting I was doing! I wouldn't recommend it lad, I was very lucky it didn't bleed A LOT more than it did. I'd recommend you go to your GP and ask him/her to recommend a surgeon. If you yank it out it could be bad, it is essentially a tumour!

  • hey guys, how much does it cost to get the surgery? just approximate, thanks alot beforehand

  • hey how much was it to get them removed?

  • how much does the procedure cost?

  • how bads the drainage? i have one coming up but i also have to go to college.

  • I had my surgery on the 12th of July 2011, trust me guys, the surgery is the least of your worries, it's when they pull the god damn packing out that's the worst bit. I'm 15, taller and stockier than most british adults and I would rather take a bullet than go through that again. Don't wanna put you off it though, just close your eyes and say "fuck it" and it's over in 5 minutes.

  • I've had polyp surgery 4 times. First in 1970, then 1979, again in 1990 and once again yesterday. The techniques have improved over the years, but no-one knows when or why they come back.

  • how long did it take to come back after your 1st surgery????? i had my surgery in march 2011 (this year....lol) and i feel wonderful. i no longer snore, have a runny nose, i haven't had my allergies act up yet, nor have i gotten a cold. buuuuutt, i cant smell certain things.... unless its strong like gas, bleach, or household spray air freshener...

  • @PrettieGirl1407 I have yet to have the surgery. I want to but am afraid of them coming back. I don't want to go through that just to have to go through it again. My question to you is... have yours come back since the surgery?

  • @areindoubleu NOPE!!!! I'm perfectly fine, I still can't smell light things. For the most part, im doing just well. My allergies are under control and all. Surgery was the best thing that I could do. My friends say I DON'T snore like before, but they do hear me breathing just a little. lol. GOOD LUCK

  • So, we need to intake it from external sources. I still have cold once in a while but i think that is normal. I also take ascorbic acid. look for tablets with vitamin c. But natural sources are better. I ate oranges but i think lemon worked for me the best! This will really help you guys 101%! I posted this comment on the other video. Im posting it again here to help more people

  • I've also suffered from nasal polyps for 5 years if im not mistaken.. Worst time is when going to sleep at night! many times i cried because i cant sleep! i even slept sitting several times! because i can breath a little better when i sit that lying. i started breathing with my 2 nose holes in about a month now! the secret is vitamin C! only 2 days of drinking extracted lemon juice and i started breathing better. We need vitamin C! Our body dont produce it naturally.

  • i'm 53.. had nasal polyps removed in 1989...they came back after 3 or 4 months..had another surgery one year later...they came back after few months...then 3rd surgery in 1997...also they came back after few months. MY SOLUTION NOW is 1 SHOT of STEROID good for 3-5 months (max 4 shots a year) + allergy shots. When they start growing back before 3 months, I use Afrin or Zicam for sleeping, but no more surgery..hospitals do it just for money...no benefits to the suffering people.

  • can you smoke after surgery? i have one coming up soon.

  • @a1rjord4n

I don't think you can smoke but just ask your doctor. I don't smoke so I am not sure, but I know he told me smoking can have a negative affect on the recovery in the months after the surgery. Good luck!

  • @a1rjord4n I was 16 years old and smoked when I had my polyps removed. Then, like an idiot teenager I was, still recovering from surgery, I still decided to smoke and only made things worse. Do yourself a favor and quit smoking cigs if you have that surgery done.

  • @GunManCity Lol and i am an idiot teenager as well...I dont feel a difference at all from this surgery...But i was not talking about cigs either, those things are nasty.

  • Sorry guys I have been away from youtube for a while. Anyway my polyps came back with vengeance and I am again suffereing from nasal issues. The doctor told me I would have to have the surgery again but there was no guarantee they wouldn't come back a third time.........screw that. Now I just use a lot of allergy medicine in the spring and fall and deal with it.

  • @philsham26 wow so the surgeryw as pointless what a rip off bro and what allergy surgery do you use?

  • just had surgery yesterday... i didn't need the packing, thank god!! but, I do have blood leaking..kind of looks like blood clots... and I reaaaallllllly want to blow my nose, but they told me not to. but I have thhis strong urge to.. when does the bleeding stop?

  • had this done 6 days ago....never felt sick to my stomach....every day gets better Folks had the nose apcking removed the next day aft the operation....been a not so great week.....but feeling good now a week later and glad l had it done...be sweet to be able to breath thru my nose again...hell, maybe even my sense of smell might return one day

  • I'll probably get this surgery in a maybe 1 or 2 months. Can't wait.

  • I set my surgery for Mach 11, 2011.I've been watching millions of videos on here and im getting scared. I would like to know if it hurt when they removed the tampon looking thing. Does everyone have to get it up their nose (because I don't want it!!!!) ? Like I told my doctor (and he saw it first hand) I have a HUGE fear of thing being place inside my nose, ears, and freaking throat!!!

  • how much was it?

  • Polyps develop at any age. I'm 19 and have had them for five years.

Finally getting them removed on Friday!

They are developed by polution, allergies, and sinus infections; and among other things.

  • guys i wanted to know is there any specific age at which nasal polyp develop?

can u plz help me out!

    i cant breath but i dont have headache i m 24.

what are the causes of growing polyp?

plzzzzzzz lemme know at ur earliest :)

  • This may be a silly question. it's been 5 days since polyps have been removed and my septoplasty, I was wondering if my runny nose is normal? it seems like it doesn't want to stop. Any ideas?

  • Does this hurt??? Im having this surgery tomorrow and im nervous...

  • damn i thing i got the same shit

  • Wish me luck I have to have this surgery done NEXT WEEK!!!!! I've been having EXTREME headaches just on the right side of my face from what feels like a million pounds of pressure starting from my maxillary sinus...I was in so much pain I went to he ER and they took a cat scan of my head and saw "Several" polyps in my left maxillary sinus cavity that is putting pressure on my head and causing me to have "MASSIVE" headaches only on the right side. If anyone is having the same issue see a ENT DR.

  • i had this surgery last week got infection given antibiotics but still have headache wasnt able to smell for over a year always blowing my nose a month before the op i changed my antihistimes was able to smell again wish i hadnt had the surgery

  • I actually blew a polyp out of my nose by myself. This was before I knew about nasal polyps. Needless to say, blowing a fleshy thing out of your face wasn't exactly a comforting experience (I thought maybe I had jammed something up there as a kid and just forgotten it). I had to phone to make certain that was a body piece I could afford to lose! I have another one though, but this one I can't dislodge by myself, so I have to see my doctor tomorrow :(

  • @Crowbarmaniaofthewar

Hello Did u find out what it was? I have the same thing. caribbeangrowers@GMAIL.COM

  • curious if this can be performed while conscious. Hope I can regain my sense of smell.

  • i had a nasal polyp for years that i had learned to live with. a few weeks ago i had 2 root canal teeth extracted as i'd spent 2 years suffering from chronic fatigue and i'd discovered research that root canals can cause chronic fatigue and a host of other major diseases.

just google root canal chronic fatigue, or root canal heart disease, or root canal cancer.

my polyp disappeared completely during the first week after extraction and has not returned. my chronic fatigue has gone too

  • for anyone deciding on having polyp surgery, check out my 2 videos. you might change your mind.

  • Tomorrow I am scheduled for my 5th polyopse surgery. I have Samter's syndrome and the polyps grow back and have to do surgery once a year.

I have permanent smell loss and this has become a burden. Nothing helps, saline sprays or steroids, they will eventually grow back.

I can't wait for my surgery.

    Wish me luck.

  • I'm 16 years old and I have got a polyp for 6 years now :S Its time to get fucking rid of it.

  • I got mine removed 2 years ago, felt great after they removed the packing but I lost my sense of smell, they said it would come back, but never did I have no sense of smell at all. Now they are back and I'm thinking about a second surgery.

  • i have ear aches and very bad congestion in my nose,i think i might have polyps im praying i dont D;

  • great video

i got a nose job an

    my result are bad

  • Great. I have to get surgery for this and now I really don't look forward to it after reading these posts!

  • hello all. I had 5 operations all ready to remove my polyps.

    1. They come back

    2. More surgeries, the more lost of permanent smelling

    3. please remove mold and dust at home to avoid polyps

    4. use saline sprays with steroidal sprays often.

    5. polyps will also cause estacion tube problems (ear infections, etc)

  • damn..... does it hurt when u operate the polyps??? i m a kid ... so... i my father says that i might have polyps.... im scared!!! does it really ruin your shaped of your nose?? wat kind of bad changes after operation???

  • Boy howdy my Brethren, just you wait till they pull that tampon out, I thought I knew pain till they pulled mine out!

That was 5 year ago and they have grown back just like before.

  • i want to get my nasal polyps removed, do you know if it spolis the shape of your nose..and do they actually grow back..was ite procedure painful..

  • It doesnt do anything to the shape, but I was able to breath, eat, sing, sleep without having a stuffy nose after years of cloggieness.

They have grown back, the Doc said they might but this time I have no insurance...

It only hurt real bad when they took the tampons out, and it was excruciating.

  • the netipot method works wonders. Add some grapefruit juice, garlic to the solution does prevent them from growing back. Natural remedy stores also have fungi solution to aid in this.

  • @benwilliamsncka How long did it take before your polyps grew back in? I am debating if its even worth getting surgery when they grow bacK? and what about recovery time, how long before you fully recovered?
