Wow a responsible answer. I compete at point fighting and I agree that as a sport its a bit of a joke, tho it can and has produced some excellent full contact fighters both past and present. Many cross train and do point fightin, continuous/full contact and forms, so just because they do points don't mean they can't fight. If ur still not sure youtube Raymond Daniels and find out.

I agree tho those guys who kept falling on the floor weren't exactly tough.

I think he meant Wes. Either way you'll find most people on here are simply haters that do nothing with their lives and don't have a clue what their talking about. It's not even worth debating with them. I deleted his comment with all the swear words in.

Point fighting has a LONG, LONG way to go as a sport, but a sport it is, this is not UFC and those who take part in it are not under any illusion. Most who do take part usually cross train between different martial arts anyway.
