  • Wow... you captured Clapton perfectly. When that first playing part stopped, I totally felt like Crossroads should have just immediately started playing. I was actually expecting to hear the song and that blew me away more than anything. You made me believe it was him.

If I had heard this blind, I would've said it was Clapton. Can't give any higher praise than that.

  • @KovieMatt Thanks man!

  • Hey man, great tone.I have a gibson les paul custom VOS 1957 too, but mine is the 3 pickup version.

Which guitar Do you prefer? The strat or the Paul?

One more question, I read that you record with a Canon 60D. I have a Canon t2i, but the sound recorded is really bad, I play in a jcm 800, very loud, so I think it's clipping. How is the mic of your camera?

  • @PEMAMETAL Thats a great guitar you have pal.. then you also know what real love is :) The thing is.. I prefer both of my guitar.. I use the LP the most.. because she can really sing. But when I'm in a mood for Hendrix or SRV kind of blues I play my strat..

I dont use the camera mic. I plug my guitar into my computer and record the sound seperatly. Then I sync the sound with film before I upload it to YT

  • @MrAndMore

what software Do you use to sync and edit videos? I tried Windows movie maker, but there is a big loss in quality. And it doesn't save in MOV format

  • @PEMAMETAL Sorry.. I don't know so much about sofware for Win. I'm using iMovie in Mac OS X. Really simple and you can publish the movie to youtube directly from the program...

  • @MrGerald3000 On youtube! lol! No but seriously... Youtube is a great way to learn licks, styles, phrases and scale! But he best way I think is to listen to a lot of music and try to learn by ear... rock on!

  • Nice.

  • @gtrjoe68 Thx!

  • are you in a band? you should be if you arent

  • @kitkatishy Thanks! I play sometimes with a couple of friends but we are not verry serious...

  • Nice video! Could you perhaps do any more of those Slash licks? I haven't seen anyone else on YouTube make a good Slash lesson, you truly make licks sound like him!

  • @maxsmith011 Thanks.. I'll try to make some more Slash licks later on!

  • @MrAndMore Cheers man, would be a great help!
