He mauled Mir in the 2nd fight, who has been an underachiever since day 1 of his career, and he beat a smaller old man in Couture, that's the highlights of his career. Struggled with Heath, was getting pwned by Carwin until Carwin gassed. The UFC is not a legit sport, and Brock is proof of that. They pushed him into a title shot just because he was a money maker - he wasn't worthy.

I'm a wrestling fan and I'd heard he'd retired so I wanted to see the match, but I wish I hadn't, since it's just plain unfair/dirty of Overeem to focus specifically on the area in which he'd had surgery.

Same thing B-hop did to Del Hoya. But it was a liver punch instead of liver kick. Nothing Lesnar could do about it, no matter how mental or physicaly tough you are, that drains everything out of you, and your body goes into shut down mode. Brock has always been a big can, way overrated. He was pushed by the UFC because he was a pay per view draw. He mauled Mir in the 2nd fight, who has been an underachiever since day 1 of his career, and he beat a smaller old man in Couture, that's the highlights of his career. Struggled with Heath, was getting pwned by Carwin until Carwin gassed. The UFC is not a legit sport, and Brock is proof of that. They pushed him into a title shot just because he was a money maker - he wasn't worthy.

Carwin gassing is his own fault. Next time be in shape. Bottom line is Brock looked bad here and he looked bad against Velesquez and he needs to retire because MMA at a high level is not for him.

@RunDCM The point is that Brock is a one dimensional fighter. His stand up is very weak, and always has been. If he cant wrestle a guy smaller than him, he has very little chance to be successful in the fight. Laying and praying on Heath Herring does not equal an impressive win to me, but that's just my opinion. So beating Heath who wasn't even ranked at the time earned him a title shot at Couture? How does that work?

Brock looked super small compaired to what he usually does. And Alister exploited brock for having surgery done on his body hence why he went right for his body like he did. I think Overheem would have won reguardless if brock was 100% or not but Brock didn't look 100% in this fight at all

I was pointing out the fact overeem exploited brock's surgery. if you look at other fight overeem does he doesn't go in with w grecco stance and fucking throw knees into peoples gut keeping his whole body exposed. True the Brock wasn't himself, he was rather intimidated and it seemed like he has no passion for the sport anymore like he did in his first few fights. Similar to Mike Tyson where you could see from his performance.

Lesnar weighed in at 266 (he was 260 against cain). He looked small because he was up against alistair who is 6'5" and weighs 263.
