My apartment is much more better looking & comfy, and i pay a few hundred $ a month. This over-priced condo looks too sterile even when fully furnished. The view is its main value here but Chicago isn"t New-York also what if you have vertigo? In bref, Its definately luxurious but not worth 2.5 M, it should be in the 1M range but again you are paying the Trump brand which inflates the prices by 200%, yeah pay another 1M $ for the trump brand name to keep you warm on those cold winter nights.
Look I think its a great condominium, the closet space is excellent, kitchen is sublime, and the bedrooms are spacious. Now I don't know about the price listign of 2.5 million, theres a three bed on the 73rd floor for 2.1, I belive it was, but im almost postive you could talk that condominium down to 2.3 to 2.2. Exellent video.
For the 'mr and mrs' - I am tired of hearing heteronormative sentences being thrown around so casually. Same-sex couples need to be recognized and respected.
yeah but the perks you get from buying one of these is amazing. food vouchers, country club memberships, you get put on the a list for casinos in vegas just to name a few.
What can you do in NY that you can't in Chicago? Chicago has everything that NY has, except cheaper.
And the loop is only one area of downtown. There are many other places downtown that are busy and eclectic pretty much 24/7. The only reason everything there closes early is because its more of a business district. People go to river north, gold coast, or the south and west loops to party or hang out downtown.
Although, I agree with u the tower is over priced...
WTF? That bathroom looks funny? I think I would go for a 1 Bed Room 1 Bath on the 42nd floor. For about $800-Mil. And the view of the sears tower and a little bit of grant park.
There's no question that the building is absolutely gorgeous...but even if I were rich, I can't imagine paying approximately $2.5 million for the 'privilege' of living in a two bedroom unit on an upper floor simply because it's another project from good ole Donald. Chicago has so many other beautiful residential high-rises to consider in this price range that I feel are every bit as nice, if not more so. The view? Fab!
The video footage was well done by the way; thx for sharing it.

Hey I have a penthouse there on the 40th floor. It really is a nice building. too much I don't spend much time in Chicago anymore.
Flamesync 1 year ago
@Flamesync A penthouse on the 40th floor? Looks like you don't spend any time here since the penthouses are dozens of floors above that.

@YoChicago1 Man you guys are fast. Never even been to Chicago I don't think. I though it'd take at least a full day for someone to call my bullshit.

Not worth the money, I would rather buy a beach house and a yacht with that kind of money.
Also, Chicago is a great city, but nowhere close to NYC. The loop is mostly dead in the evening and things close early around there.
Better to buy a home in a nice neighborhood on the northside of the city.
IMO

No where close to NYC?
Really?

LondonTrueLove 3 years ago 4
Small!? Haven't been inside many apartments, have you? Also, location is everything in real estate.
PDC1987 3 years ago
What are you reacting to? There's no suggestion in the video that the unit is small.
