I agree with shiziest. Also, I don't think Griffey Jr. will be back. He cannot hold up in CF over an entire season. Either Owens or Anderson will start in CF unless the Sox trade Swisher to Giants for Rowand. Ramirez will be SS and they will find a new 2B. Konerko will be back at 1B. Also I believe Contreas is not expected to be back until July 09. I don't see the Sox trading Vasquez. Yes he sucks but he does eat innings.
The Reds have Joey Votto so why would they want Konerko and his crappy contract. Joe Crede is a free agent so you can't trade him. I also don't see the Tigers adding on 12 mil to their payroll by just taking vasquez for a league minimum pitcher. In short all your trades make no sense for the other team.
Votto is one of the Reds top prospects and had a much better year this year than Konerko. Not to mention he's in his rookie contract for 4-5 more years.

considering konerko is much better, i think they'd rather him, detroit needs some starters, and by trade crede, i meant get relief in his spot
