Any one with little kids should be showing them how to shoot. I have a 5 year old and a 6 year old and they are learning to shoot a mini-22. next will be my .308. Our kids are going to need to know how to shoot in the world they will be living in.

I can tell who all of you eastern city boys are. Never fired a gun, or if you did it was in a drive-by and couldn't find the shell casings afterwards. The shell casings have a burned gunpowder smell that I still strongly associate with the first times my father took me out to shoot. That's what the boy did. He picked up the shell casing and smelled it. Also, If daddy is out there blasting AK rounds like that he is either rich or he reloads,I say he reloads and the boy knows to collect brass
Awesome! My dad started teaching me to shoot when I was about 5 or 6 but before that I always went with him and his friends to the range and was the "powder monkey" so to speak. Either way I learned very young to respect firearms and those lessons my dad taught me as a boy are still with me today at 36.

@supersanne2005 im trying to refrain from laughing at you but this is good parenting . you teach that child that this is not a toy, it is to be respected and used with caution. it should be required by law for every child be taught gun safety. because gun control sure as hell isnt working so why not teach that kid about gun safety BEFORE he goes into a gun controlled area such as a school and opens fire on other kids.

@TeamROH...and who said *this* video was all about a lesson? All we are doing is "ripping it up". Lessons revolve around, saftey, accuracy, technique, education, etc. There is no lesson here...only having fun. You seem to be somewhat prudish so I seriously doubt you have any concept of that...

I like this, teaching kids young about firearms means later on in life, late teens early adulthood, owning a gun won't be a status thing among his peers, there's a better chance he won't be buying them on the street, any one hating on this should take a look at gun crime statistics, the number of licensed weapons vs unlicensed weapons used in gun crimes

If there are guns in the house it is irresponsible to not teach your kids to respect them. There are few things more dangerous than an inexperienced person of any age within arms length of a gun. There are few things safer than a sober and respectful experienced marksman of any age with a gun in their hand.

Well I see alot of people freaked out about your son shooting a rifle and not wearing eye protection. All I have to say to those people is..... That 4 yr old is more than likely, safer around guns that most the people making those comments. GOOD JOB as parents teaching him to shoot and gun safety. I was 5 myself when I learned to shoot.

I can tell who all of you eastern city boys are. Never fired a gun, or if you did it was in a drive-by and couldn't find the shell casings afterwards. The shell casings have a burned gunpowder smell that I still strongly associate with the first times my father took me out to shoot. That's what the boy did. He picked up the shell casing and smelled it. Also, If daddy is out there blasting AK rounds like that he is either rich or he reloads,I say he reloads and the boy knows to collect brass

Awesome! My dad started teaching me to shoot when I was about 5 or 6 but before that I always went with him and his friends to the range and was the "powder monkey" so to speak. Either way I learned very young to respect firearms and those lessons my dad taught me as a boy are still with me today at 36.

over 800 people don't think you need to teach your kids some gun safety or how to shoot? did anyone actually pay attention in history class as to how this country won its freedom?
