Yeah, its using MONSTER for the images - but that is why it works. It is NOT the Usual Suspects who are the true criminals...

Nice matching with sound and words. I was nearly convinced an animated version of The Usual Suspects had been done!

yeah, what others said earlier. this is not an anime for the usual suspects it's naoki urasawa's, monster. pretty damn awesome, creepy, and suspenseful as well tho. funny, i'd never have thought of the two together before this but they do work nicely together

i could draw a good drawing for a cartoon version of Ghandi and make him 6 foot 5 with a mountain of muscles long hair and dazzling white teeth.

the truth is he was small had glasses many missing teeth and skinny.

and if the character isnt drawn to represent the character it RUINS everything.

part of the story is you wouldnt think it was Verbal because he is pityfull.

if you remove the pityfull element then there is no reason you shouldn't suspect him therefore spoiling the movie.

The anime is from 'Monster' I think, it's just images from Monster put on sound of the Usual Suspects (like you say, a movie everyone MUST see) I'm not completely sure though..
