As a US Citizen Obama is qualified to be a US Senator, if the Senate accepts dual citizens. Obama is a native born US/British dual citizen. He was born with mixed citizenship. What you say would make perfect sense, normally. And I would agree with it. But the fly in the ointment is this: Hawaii, by law, allowed children born in foreign countries to be registered in Hawaii within the first year of life as though they were born there. That provision has since been discontinued, I believe, but that would explain why--in this case--a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth, which we've all seen by now, doesn't necessarily mean much.

As citizens, we need to know that our President is legitimate. I do not think this issue will just go away. The door is still open that every decision that he makes can be challenged on this issue. Yes, I saw the certificate at the end, but I was just making the comment that a "birth certificate" and a "certification of live birth" are different. Most jobs and even little league baseball teams will not except the "certification of live birth", they will only except the actual "birth certificate" as a sufficient document.

I think that all the candidates should show their credentials, just as any other job would require.

fight the smears . factcheck all have the same copy of the birth cert. You can tell by the date stamped on the backside (you can see it through the front) the problem is one has a raised stamped state seal and the other does not. It is the exact same cert. if you use the little green bars on the papers background as a measuring guide you can plainly see it is the exact same cert but one has a raised stamp and the other does not. How is that possible?

I didnt think it was true at first, but why does the exact same birthcert (look at the date stamp, lower 2/3. it was stamped on the back and you can see it from the front. If it was a digital image/pdf you would not be able to see this. Also on the same exact birth cert one has a stamped raised seal and the other does not.count the little green bars on the paper you will see what I mean.

Indeed it's easy digital copy of your birth certificate. The problem is there are 2 versions. And there is enough apparent evidence for a judge to take this in on his docket. And when you are running for President it is a CONSTITUTIONAL requirement that you are nature born citizen. Therefore if you were able to get away with a copy for other things like drivers licenses, etc. for President you need the ACTUAL document. He is running for PRESIDENT for Pete's sake, not getting a drivers license.
