With the Czechs, Chamberlain gave the Sudetenland to Germany and six months later Germany invaded the rest of the country. 1/5 of all Poles died 1939-45.

The fact remains, the UK and France went to war in '39 and fought and died for 2 years while the US watched.

We only went into the Middle East to protect our own interests, and we only went into Korea and Vietnam because no one was helping them out at all. Changes in territory and rulers were common (Poland often got snapped up by Russia and Prussia). The UK has done some shameful things but the Nazi regime was undoubtedly worse with its death camps.

Presumably the invasion of neutral nations like Belguim (1914/1940), Holland (1940), Yugoslavia (1941) etc were also defensive. With the Czechs, Chamberlain gave the Sudetenland to Germany and six months later Germany invaded the rest of the country. 1/5 of all Poles died 1939-45.

Born an aristocrat, he did not have to devote his life's work to the common man but, he did. He inspires and moved the masses to carry on against all odds with his words we will Never Surrender. A great man, a great leader and never in the field of conflict has there been such a man. He led us tirelessly to sunlight uplands and on to freedom. Gods speed.

the russians didn't even have nuclear weapons at the end of WW2 they were badly torn up,
the US didn't either turn all resources against USSR, it was just firm towards them.
however, it was churchill that got the US to fight the Russians because he was the most anti-bolshevik leader and activist in all of WW2 and WW1
