2:41 the nose of the car rises just enough to get a little air underneath and the hood starts fluttering and you see as soon as the driver gets on the brakes it slaps back down because it brings the nose back close to the road. I am guessing that the car was getting a little squirly at the end of the strait

@Snapleaple I would guess this is GT. They combined GT2 and GT1 into GT in 2010 in ALMS. If this is 2009 or older then it is a combo. Porsches were GT2 and Corvettes were GT1. Then there was the LMP1 or LMP2 car that passed at 1:06.

i thought about it, and compare this with my 60fps capture with GoPro HD, i start to think this is not 60fps due to the frame jumps at fast action. such as driver's hand when he shifts, pit work, other cars whizzing by. I think this is more like 25 or 30 frame per sec. But the quality of the video is tip top. Especially lighting, which compare to my in car cam mine is usually too bright looking out at the track.

Hi Colin, I record 800x600 for the 60fps for my motorsport. But when I publish using windows movie maker it only allows 30fps, that simply is not fast enough for motorsport's speed.

Do you know what software that can allow me to publish at 60fps?

Sony Vegas can. You can also edit it MPEG-4 so no need to convert the video to .wmv or something. You should be able to download a trial or something. When you go to [Render As] or render the video use under (Save as type) MainConcept AVC/AAC (*.mp4) Then make a custom template changing the FPS to 60. I would also change the constant bit rate to at least 2,000,000 bps.

Now I spent the last hour trying to get a video of mine to play at 60fps.. For what ever reason Youtube wants to re-encode it back down to 30FPS... I have heard that for a period of time they allowed 60 but it is currently closed to 30. That or GoPro is getting special treatment. (I mean this video is far to smooth for 30fps..) Never the less Sony Vegas trumps Windows Movie Maker in every way.

well, I have the platinum package trial version downloaded. I am installing it now and later will try to render it in 60fps according to the methods you taught me. I agree those goPro clips are definitely at 60 or 50fps. They are way too smooth for 25 or 30fps.

Hi Brothgar, I had Vegas installed. Problems started now. 1. the previews in the window lag very much, frames jump from say like 1st frame to 10th frame and goes on. I tried one hour tweaking and finally got it run smoothly but then stupid I pressed the default setting and then I am back to the lagging thing.

2nd problem is even if I load 60fps MPEG-4 GoPro movies, it still play in 25 fps by the frame counter. There's no option to let it play more than 30. 3rd, Vegas

does not recognize my proudest MPEG-4 video!!! I think I had to resort to WMM for that movie now. It was a big file of 3.37GB but I don't think that is the source of the problem.

I am traveling so I have my laptop with me which is a HP with 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo and 2GB of RAM. I can't believe it can't render the preview properly.

Is such thing dependent on video card more than CPU? If my guess is right, then my desktop has a super vid card for that. For now I am searching on-line for solutions.

It will even downgrade the quality of the video in order to save space! I guess I just have to live with that. It's free anyways.
