yeah, i will give Arnel credit for his stamina and toughness, even though i am not a big fan of the way he changes some of the older songs, etc.

the problem is Neal Schon and company, always with the work work work mentality. too many concerts too close together, and not nearly enough time to recuperate after a tour. no wonder Steve Perry got burned out and Steve Augeri's throat died on him...just sad.

journey needs to take a long vacation.

ARNEL is absolutely AMAZING!!!

I would dare any 40+ vocalist / musician to try singing and entire set of Journey songs ... and doing day in / day out in a full blown concert tour that spans multiple continents.

Even when his voice is strained and tired ... and when his entire system is fatigued ... the guy just GIVES and GIVES.

He pours his heart and soul into these songs. A true professional ... and a true artist who loves his craft.

His passion is refreshing.

I agree..try singing these types of songs and you'll be out of voice for a week..give the guy a credit he's into a not easy set every night even if you lower it a step
