  • I have a question do they make them with 24 frets my by any chance ?

  • @iConverseMyLife They do not in this model.

  • is it a thick neck? or its similar as a standard american tele?

  • @tclf It is a little chunkier neck for sure. Feels more like a "D" shape to me. More meat sits in the palm of your hand. It is not too chunky though.

  • What does baja mean?

  • @pok0000 I think it means "low" (like not tall) in Spanish. Right?

  • @pok0000 I think the Baja part of the Fender Baja Telecaster reffers to the Baja California peninsula in western Mexico.

  • this guitar is made in USA or Mexiko?

  • @metal7as It's made in Mexico.

  • which fender amp are you using?

  • @drumduif It's the Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 $799.00 at nstuffmusic with coupon code: FENDER35

  • Tune it Maby :)

  • Would this be ok for british indie styles such as Foals or Bombay Bicycle club?

  • @cornflakes2794 Not familiar with those bands but I think a Tele would be great for British Indie Styles.

  • @cornflakes2794

You're putting two very different bands together there.

  • @cornflakes2794 yeah, perfect for indie stuff this guitar. :)

  • Nice review...

  • how do u like this compared to the 52 reissue?

  • You forgot to demo the 4th position with the S1 engaged, produces an out of phase sound that's like no other sound on that guitar; Neck and bridge in series, out of phase.

  • Hi do you think this telecaster would suit Styles like Tom petty ?

  • @TheACDCnutter Absolutely......

  • Is it better for classic Blues and rock than the American special model ???? gaëtan

  • @BELOROYAN They would both work well for that application. What it comes down to playability the neck profiles are different but not night and day...The Baja is an Ash body and the American is Alder....

  • Dumbest question about to be asked - Is this the blonde finish that turns yellow after it ages? I always liked the yellow look (like the road worn teles), I just don't want a road worn. Thanks

  • @dustybeers It might turn a little more yellow depending on the environment you keep it in.

  • You're definitely one of the most talented guitar player I've ever listen to.

  • What finish is this ? The Vintage blonde?

  • @coupe662 Yes it is

  • @coupe662 It's a polyester finish.

  • @coupe662 it's sort of a nocaster blonde w. a polyester finish

  • Bajs tele hahaha

    Sorry i couldn't resist!

  • Great reviews! Thanks so much! I like this guitar but I'm turned off by the S-1 switch, I just like a traditional 3-way switch

  • That's quite a bit of tension for a tele, but it should be able to handle it. Obviously the nut will need modified and the neck tension will have to be adjusted. It might take a few days for the neck to settle in.

  • How would this guitar handle with 013-056 gauge strings? I'm after a new guitar to play Peter Buck-inspired clean arpeggio-driven rhythm stuff on and mr. Buck is famous for using really heavy strings to get a chunky, snappy sound.

  • does it have a nitro or poly finish?

  • @mikepville1 Polyester finish. $714.99 at nstuffmusic with coupon code.

  • @NstuffMusic

And how can I get that coupon code?

  • @fedyaTFS Send us an email requesting it with the make and model of guitar.

  • @NstuffMusic

Thanks for the quick response :)

Definatly gonna buy this guitar in a month or so

  • Does the last position have a similar sound to a middle position from a Jazzmaster?

  • @mendez2050 The Tele has a little more pop and snap! But they are both single coil style pickups so they are some what similar.

  • can you remember the settings on the De Ville ?? Thanks.

  • @tele2612 We usually try to run it flat.

  • The Baja Tele we currently have in stock is 7.5 lbs.

  • i heard that baja is usually a bit heavy do you have a light one?

  • as a funk player, GOTTA LOVE THE FREAKING TELE!

  • How would compare this guitar to the Squire CV50 Telecaster, not so much about features, but overall tone and build quality. ??

  • @tele2612 The Baja Tele is a better built guitar with better components.

  • great playing

  • got this guitar for christmas the sound insane, love the tele's now. Watch my vid boys are back in town if you wanna hear what it sounds like live

  • How would you compare this guitar to the american standard in regard to quality?

  • @romekdo77 I think the American Standard is better quality.

  • I LOVE your playing style! Great guitar huh?!

  • Really nice review, however just a little constructive feedback, you didn't demonstrate the 'out of phase' for the series position (4).

I do think your reviews are amongst the best anywhere on the internet. Mark plays beautifully and describes the produces well.

    Thanks

  • Great demo and superb playing.

The first thing i will do tomorrow is to buy a baja (:
