Its a 76, a car magazine got to test drive it. They said Micheal Bay chose the 76 camaro because it is considered the worst one of all. Reason is because the 350 only made like 130 hp that year. In the movie they put in a 383 with custom interior from an old buick I believe.

I got a 74. its silver with two black stripes. i thought it was so cool that they used a 77 in the movie. nobody really aknowledges the 74-77 b/c they were slow and kinda ugle compared to the 70-73. Badass movie.

I like the older camaro's so much better than the new body style. But then again, i like the new body style cararo's so much better than the rest of the crap that's out there. The retro camaro/mustang/charger, are still cool in my books. just not as cool, lol.

Well actually the camaro from the movie was a 77' and it sold on ebay for over 30,000 USD and it was sold in the same condition you saw it in the movie minus the fake engine they had in it. It just had the stock 350 in it. LOL Some ppl have too much money.
